Yeah this is a positive. The OPEC nations appear to be surging their oil production as well which is also contributing to the price slump.

The price of oil has decreased even before the "tariff wars"...
Partially correct. The price had been coming down since Trump took office at a steady rate, then from about March 4th it started rising again at steady rate until the day after Trump announced his tariffs where it dropped at much faster rate.
What an analysis. The tarrff story is a big thing and a nice country to the US like Saudi Arabia is caught full in it. The change in paradigm that comes from the tarriff fabrication goes beyond Russia. The US, in order to fabricate their tarriff tales, have thrown many liberal economics tenets away. The oil price plummetting is jsut a blip. And can be in fact attributed to the way liberals perceive economy.
I am happy about tht - petrol proces are down R1 a litter from thsi month.
Price per litre ??
It went down from R24,50 to R23,55 of which R11 is Government excise duty. Petrol and diesel prices is a major contribution to inflation due to trasporttion costs of goods, Like in the USA under Biden the Govenment cooks statistics to protect themselves from criticism - so now inflation runs at 30% and the SA Govenment claimed that it si 3,2% - food prices increased by at least 30% and service coast by over 20%,
Thanks for the info ... ask your Russian tjommies for a lower price.
The fcn ANC is probably getting discount oil from Russia and scheming the difference off the top for their own pockets.

At least one positive result of Trump's Tariff/Deficit War. It appears the cost per barrel is getting very close to the break even for Russia. If it drops more, they make a loss
