South Africa like power failures have racked the cash strapped communist government in Cuba. When will the world accept, capitalism, the economic equivalent of democracy, is the surest way to unleash to potential of the human race.

Cuba is a case in point. It could be the winter destination for America with a vast tourism industry raising the standard of living for all Cubans. Instead it’s just another failed military dictatorship, while enterprising people with Cuban roots are building the capital of Latin America in Miami and the people remaining in Cuba are a step above poverty.

The West has avoided a similar fate because of capitalism’s deep roots, but it’s been close at times. And it’s not for lack of trying on the part of large segments of the intellectual left.

Musk could fix Cuba in a year.

What is mazing is that with the new coalition Govenment and the Minister of  Energy beig a DA member - we suddenly had no loadshedding in SA  since he new Government took over in mod-June.

The level of corruption seems to have gone down  in a bg way and ws not th ehadlines in the SA Press like it used to be,    There is a rumor that the electicity prvision arm of Eskom may be privatized  and the funcion of Eskom wil become reticulation and sale of electricity simce major Municpalities fail not pay Eskom for provision of electrcity t them fro ticulation in heir local areas/

I suspect the guilty Municipalities may be put under Provincial Governemnt control and administer by experts and not by corrupt local Councillors and officials.
