This will be the toughest challenge to date for Dricus. Although Khamzat is Not from dagistani, his wrestling is of the same quality.

Besides that, his striking is very good and he is physically very strong like Dricus.

Dricus will have to be at the top of his game, to beat this guy. But I am positive he can do it, but it will be really tough.

Mar 03, 2025, 14:12

I agree M

His toughest fight yet, and he needs to get ot of the 1st round unscathed, then it's DDP all the way.

If this goes to the ground, DDP is no slouch, but it would probably favour Khamzat, but I refuse to write off DDP in any fighting going forward

Burns showed us that it is possible to beat Khamzat, and I actually thought Burns won that fight.

Mar 03, 2025, 16:19

The Burns fight was close you right DA….Yip that first round is important.

Its going to be war…

Aug 14, 2025, 16:37

So guys the time For Dricus,s fight is upon us….again Dricus and the Boks are on the same day:)

I think it will bring luck against Khamzat who is a strong fighter.

But my prediction is Dricus who is a Skilled tough South African Warrior, will pull it thru!

Go Dricus and Go Boks!!

Aug 14, 2025, 17:04

I think Dricus with become the 1st person to finish Khamzat

3rd - 5th round

Official prediction.... same as Izzy, 4th round finish

Aug 14, 2025, 21:59

when ?

Aug 14, 2025, 22:48

My mistake, the fight is Sunday morning 4 Am 17/08/25.

Aug 16, 2025, 21:45

Ok guys the Boks were taught a Rugby lesson so I really hope Dricus can do it for us!

Does anyone know of a live stream for the fight?

Aug 17, 2025, 09:19

Khamzat is just a much better wrestler and Dricus got dominated. That was embarrassing. What next for Dricus?

He says he will be back stronger….I think he needs to go and learn wrestling with Khabieb Nurgamadov. Then he will stand a chance again.

Dagestani wrestlers are even better than Russian Wrestlers like Khamzat. So quite a disappointing weekend for SA. Hopefully we will do better next time.

Aug 17, 2025, 11:32

When we lost to the Ozzies yesterday, I had a shitty feeling about the DDP fight.

Meh...wrestling is so boring. You just hang on the guy.

DDP's takedown defence was basically non-existent. Took KC all of 5 seconds to take him down in the first round.

Oh well, at least DDP is wealthy now and put us on the map.

Aug 17, 2025, 14:17

Yeah wrestling is boring but a big part of MMA. DDP needs that Wrestling training desperately.

The crucifix takedown was bad and repeatedly getting bashed in the head. It’s difficult to believe Khamzat is just so much stronger than DDP??

Well we will see what happens in the future, but after that loss, it will be a bloody long trip home!

One thing that really pissed me of about DDP was how cocky he was before the fight.

Saying that there was no way that Khamzat will beat him, he will bring him back to earth and teach him a lesson. Even saying that he will pay $10 000 per takedown if Khamzat is able to.

Khamzat took him down 12 times, so he owes him $ 120 000:)

I do think that DDP can possibly make his way back, but he needs to be humble and go train with Khabieb Nurgamadov, for atleast a Year or Two.

That is the ONLY way I think he will beat him and regain the title.

Aug 18, 2025, 10:34

I heard DDP got R50 million for this fight......great if he did

Not bad at all for 25 minutes work

It was a horrible boring fight, and I can understand why so many people around the globe are so pissed that Khamzat won, because they are mostly all saying the same thing, Khamzat could be a very boring champion.....basically just hanging on to all his future opponents

Well done Khamzat, he schooled DDP, who got crucifixed in all 5 rounds.....bloody madness.

That was the most boring fight I have ever watched..... and most people are saying the same thing, even while congratulating Khamzat....

Aug 18, 2025, 10:56

..but we do have Canelo and Crawford to look forward to.

That one won't be boring.

I don't think i'll sleep that weekend.

Aug 18, 2025, 12:01

That definitely won't be boring..... can't wait

Aug 18, 2025, 16:51

Well if you look at Khabieb he mainly used wrestling to win his fights. If you can nullify the wrestling skills, and fight standing up, a good striker will win a Khamzat or Khabieb.

That is the secret with these Russian and Dagestani fighters. They are not exceptional strikers.

Aug 19, 2025, 09:01

It's the reason that MMA will always be behind boxing for me.

The sweet science is just sweet.

Damn, I'd love to at the Canelo fight. I've been to a few high profile fights in Europe, but nothing compares to Vegas. Nobody does a show like the Yanks do.

I wonder if there's still time to apply for refugee status ;)

Aug 19, 2025, 13:04

" I wonder if there's still time to apply for refugee status ;)"

Nah plum they will put you in a army concentration camp, ear marked as a hobo.

I promise you it’s far away from Vegas:)

Aug 19, 2025, 13:36

lol somer a hobo...geez

Admissions for Afrikaners under E.O. 14204 “Addressing Egregious Actions of the Republic of South Africa

Consistent with President Trump’s Executive Order on Addressing Egregious Actions of the Republic of South Africa, the Department of State is coordinating with the Department of Homeland Security and Resettlement Support Center Africa (RSC Africa) to consider eligibility for U.S. refugee resettlement for people who are of Afrikaner ethnicity or a member of a racial minority in South Africa who are victims of unjust racial discrimination. As of July 2025, the Department of State shifted all support functions to RSC Africa, which is operated by Church World Service and based in Nairobi, Kenya. RSC Africa is a trusted partner of the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) with over 20 years of experience and has no connection to the South African government. RSC Africa will be responsible for communicating with applicants and responding to applicant inquiries.

RSC Africa manages all refugee processing in South Africa, including:

Conducting intake and referral interviews

Collecting applicants’ data and documentation

Requesting background checks

Scheduling USCIS interviews

Arranging for medical exams

Booking travel to the United States

RSC Africa does not make decisions on refugee cases. Only USCIS has the authority to adjudicate cases and decide whether an individual qualifies for admission to the United States as a refugee. USCIS continues to conduct resettlement interviews on a regular basis in South Africa, though processing will transition to worksites outside of the Embassy compound.

As part of the transition, Embassy Pretoria will retire the email addresses previously used for general inquiries and interview scheduling. RSC Africa will contact applicants under consideration regarding next steps.

The Statement of Interest Form on Embassy Pretoria’s website remains active. To be eligible for U.S. resettlement consideration, individuals must meet all of the following criteria:

Must be of South African nationality; and

Must be of Afrikaner ethnicity or be a member of a racial minority in South Africa; and

Must be able to articulate a past experience of persecution or fear of future persecution.

Individuals who meet all the above criteria and would like to be considered for referral to the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) should complete and submit the Statement of Interest form: Statement of Interest

If you have already submitted a Statement of Interest form, there is no need to re-submit. RSC Africa will work through the sizeable volume of submissions, gathering applicant information for assessment by the U.S. government. Given the volume of interest, individuals may not receive a response for an extended period.

Not all individuals who meet the basic eligibility criteria and are selected for an initial interview will be referred. The U.S. government considers a variety of factors when making referral decisions, including eligibility criteria, persecution claim, and background check results. The authority to grant access to the USRAP (via referral) rests with the U.S. government and is not a function of RSC Africa.

Reminder: Access to the USRAP is free, including completion of the Statement of Interest Google form. Using a translator or preparer is not necessary as these services will be provided by the USRAP. It is not necessary to have documents verified. Beware of any scams or potential exploitation. No one should pay any fees or favors to unauthorized individuals claiming to be able to assist or expedite resettlement to the United States or to gain access to the program.
