Conroy Phillips Wagner
220/6 at stumps
daSwardt 50 n.o batting with 37 yr,
Fatty von Berg - fucking joke that he is on debut aged 37
Looks like a club’s 5th team prop
de Swardt is the one player who looks to have a test future
With a first class average of 50 odd and a useful medium paced seamer he should have been in the mix ages ago
Wind back to the 1st Test when he went with an all pace attack and a part time spinner......well, our part time spinner took 4 wickets on a pitch which turned out to be a spinners paradise if you go by the kiwi spin results.
He has a reputation for thinking outside the square....I'd rather he not.
Proteas better placed in this one….Kiwi out in the first over.
SA 242 daSwardt 64 Bedingham 39 vonBerg
NZ 211/9............... Piedt 4 & Paterson 3 ...... bowlers doing the damage
close of play
How about cracking Clyde Fortuin test level????

So second test has started - NZ leave out their spinner who happens to be a pretty useful one and good old SA drop two seamers and include two spinners - a decision the NZ commentators are struggling to understand. Added to this SA drop a specialist opening bat and replace him with the keeper who has only ever opened for his province on two occasions. Needless to say he was out first ball. Something tells me our current coach is absolutely clueless?
60 odd for 3.
van Tonder was looking good on 32 then gives away his wicket in such a soft fashion in the over before lunch - fuck sake
