Ryan Rickelton showing his class. Mumbai Indians should win this easily after a total collapse by the KKR top order but you never know . . . this is the IPL after all.

Rickelton on 59 off 37 balls as I type this and looking the goods. Will Jacks is out as I was typing that which will add a bit more pressure but surely Rickelton and MI can't screw it up from here?

Mumbai wrap it up with a 6 from SKY Rickelton finishes on 62 off 41.

Nice interview from Ryan as well. Humble and well spoken. I really like this guy. There's a good chance I'll meet him in person some time in the future as he and his brother are good mates with my son.

The double hundred he hit in December was flawless.

Probably the best I've see.

Happy days Rooi.....please let him know that one of his greatest admirers can't wait to see him play red ball cricket @ the splendorous SCG.

Totally agree with your cricket comments folks, that knock by Ryan was pure class and a pleasure to watch.

Now we need the young Brevis and Stubbs to solidify their class and secure a permanent role in SA cricket.

Exciting times ahead for us SA cricket supporters hopefully.

Thanks.

Don't get your hopes up, you're not wrong about a new wave of talent but lest you forget the elephant in the room......the dreaded Transformation.

Rooinek

Just an early warning, Rickelton will become the newest dartboard......it will start slowly and build momentum, a minor error is all that's needed for our resident Bitterbal to build an agenda. You might regret giving him a tick.

The funny thing is until you mentioned the name he would not even have known of his existence.

I kid you not!

Because 4 veteran world class players came through….Kane Williamson 34, Mitchell Santner 33, Virat Kohli 36 and Hardik Pandya 31 stepped up in both games, at exactly when needed. For the Proteas only Miller 35 played a potential match winning role, but Rassie van der Dussen 36 was strong support.

We need to add a few new players, but WC after WC the lesson is clear, these things are decided by a few world class experienced players. That kind of player doesn’t need to be given a key, they knock down the door. Rickleton and Breetzke perhaps have done that…..but they lack the depth of experience that reliably yields the Kohli or Williamson semi contributions

Obsessed and as usual your master ignores you. It must be tough this unrequited love.
