Well, Pakistan put our first innings score in perspective with their second innings...but 259 was still something very
special...but Baby AB should have been in the mix already.

Sucks that he didn't break Amla's record.
Amla was on the commentary team so would have been cool.
I've been calling for Brevis's inclusion months ago as I did with Ryan Rickleton. They had a doppie with a certain colour denying Ryan's selection, I also made mention that the fool of a coach played Brevis at 7....reason being he wanted an Allrounder, now why on earth would he when as I said there's an allrounder in place by the name of Marco Jansen. By the way Brevis scored 70 runs on that occasion and it was the last time he represented South Africa, the Doppie that denied Ryan, can't even remember his name.....well he's fallen off the face of the earth.
But yes I whole heartedly agree Brevis is the obvious choice, the sooner the better.
I remember calling for his selection in the past WC......(sigh)

After Rickelton's recent success, Draad felt that the Proteas should build their line-up around him.
And its a good call, but we do need to remember that baby AB is still out there.
He's taken a decent amount of time to be able to adapt to being a pro. And I think he should be playing all 3 formats for South Africa. There are so few tests lately, he could still make good money from T20 competitions, and actually be our next AB. Brevis, Stubbs, Rickleton, is a formidable.
