Klaasen…Proteas’ WC best moment

Despite being abused on here along with Hendricks who had a disappointing WC, Klaasen came through big time. His magnificent 50 in the final put us in a position where the prediction model had moved to 95% Proteas.

Dithering by Jansen, Maharaj and a moment of incredible bad luck that did in Miller, took away that opportunity.

But it was the most match changing innings I can recall from a Protea batsman in a WC. It’s telling how some posters in the cricket section  couldn’t bring themselves to recognize this accomplishment. Small. Any respect for these posters is pretty much gone.

"Any respect for these posters is pretty much gone."

I'm surprised there was any to start off with.

You'll notice how Denise slunk away from the previous post...which she started.

Apparently, she loves the game...

But I think she loves it in the same way that the novo-riche nouveau rich love the opera. Doesn't understands it at all but thinks it makes her appear classy.

Imagine calling yourself a Protea fan and not being able to acknowledge the most consequential innings played by a Protea in this WC. Small people.

What a come down for the Proteas after the CWC.

Just watched a recorded third 20/20 game against the Windies and yet another losing performance.

A poor West Indies tour for the Proteas at the very best.

A disaster tour for many players both with the bat and bowling performances.

Poor Stubbs having to slog his way with the bat to makeup for the failures of his team mates.

Embarassing.

AJ we just don't have the cattle. Also, two of the newbies are closing in on 30 and some of the selections are just poor to rotten. One is 35.

Cry me a river.

Shocking at best.

Even worse is that there doesn't appear to be any light at the end of the tunnel.

I believe there's a lot of planning and work to be done at grass root level and I also believe that the BS of employing persons based on colour to lead in going forward should be eliminated.

And honest assessment of whatever has been practiced and tried in the past and the present is not working.
