Elephant?
You mean mouse!
...btw, he has been pretty good in tests. I'd persist with him there. The rest of our lineup is so inexperienced.vv

Why for? He's 34 and like a boxer hanging around for that one last fight. Nee man, he's not going to get any better and there's younger players waiting for an opportunity.
Question is where are our future black batsman?.......shame man the country has only produced one since readmission.
And OBTW I agree he's be en good in tests.
Why are so few black batsman coming through the ranks ...
I wish I knew.......and it's not a 'few'......there's none that I know of.
Agreed, sad actually
Have you ever met a black person that can concentrate for longer than 30 minutes?
Just saying…
Yes.
AJH - It must have involved looting?
No actually we assisted my wifes housekeeper to motivate her three children prior to leaving RSA.
Two boys and a girl
.The eldest son is employed with Siemens and is a software engineer, his brother is a Technologist with Siemens in Johannesburg (the last we heard) and the daughter is a Nurse.
All three grew up without a father, matriculated and the two sons went onto college.
I know of many other cases of families who received assistance from other parents at our childrens school and all are better educated than many other unfortunate families.
So with a bit of assistance these young children all managed to get a decent education and are all doing well.
Yes I will admit that their are thousands who wonder around aimlessly with no skills, either drunk or high and on the take at every opportunity.
This is true for all shades of people sadly.
Unfortunately we have over the years lost contact with the family as they have moved and so have we a few times in the past 36 years.

We are according to some sit members Conservatives and racist.
I have learned a lot from my mher about caring for por people, She was always working to get funds for community projects like the new operating theatre in the Hospital and took care of sick peple at the time when penicisilin had to be gicen shots every three hours and the doctors culd not goout to inject the patients and my mother day and night would do that on neighboring farms as well as our farm.
She had on system that help the children of the farm laborers to get proper education. Some of the ended up as teachers, nurses and busines men. Another son became a senior poice officer. in Riversdale.
She also had a domestic employee who worked for her for 52 years. She actually played a major role in our upbringing and when my father sold the farm I got her a home in Riiversdale and pad her money to help her and her husband.
I had a domesic employee who worked for me once a week in Durban from 1980 to 2000 - when I moved to Tinley Minor Beach. I paid her to get her son and daughter to became a teacher and nurse respectively.
For me community Service was a must and helping people to better themselves to get a better life was always a priority. was involved in raising fund nd amnaging the Alber Luthuli center in Groutville as ell as buiding 3 200 homes for slumdwellers in three townships Since I ahd my normal duties in the Municipality I had to work up to 12 hours a day and 7 day a week to get the above done, I rarely had days off nop wotking - sometimes it was 1 day every 3
months.

I aited to see what happened a to the squad before I reacted to your post on the cricket squad. Coetze was wihdrawn from the squad.
I specfally waned to have a look at the starting team for the first test - was turned out to be a real mess, Markram was cleanbowled after fiddling around and is a real mess. They brought on Stubbs and he amde 2 runs from 5 balls when rain interrupted play/
There are two medium fast bowlers in Rabada and Ngidi in the playing squad and the only other bowler is Maharaj, Muller at 8 is an all-rounder and the other team membrs are all batsmen.
fI that team wins this rest I wlll have to apologize - but I do not think they cannot win the test
, . .
Markram yesterday was very poor and he is known now for more failures than a reaonable batsmanshould be. De Zorzi and Bavuma was very good. I m happy about the batting of Verreynne and Mulder as well. Staubbs can also devlop as a batsman -it was the first time he batted t 3 - so it is ealy days.
