How’s your guy that doesn’t deserve a spot in the side looking, ou Dentsie?

I guess you’re gonna give us all the “but his 1st class record” arguments.

How about, “Damn, Plum! Your pick has come very good. The best even.”

So far, out of all the guys, selected since i made that list, and including Malan…the one guy Dentsie had issues with…is the one that has performed the best…and by a serious distance.

I don’t know what to tell you, Dentsie.

As i said then, and during, your lacking in understanding of the game, and in particular anything to relating to the techniques involved, will always let you down.

And we had a classical de Kock flop. He is clearly comfortable on the dead Indian pitches and has had a few decent showings. But then with the series there for the taking, he goes out to a shot so atrocious it’s hard to believe a professional cricketer could produce it. Let alone at the start of the innings.

Before batting he was joshing it up with his Indian pals….and the same at the end of the match having lost. He was positively beaming. Now I don’t think you have to be dour to be competitive….but Ock looked completely unfocused.

He has another chance tomorrow. Let’s hope he takes it seriously.

De Kock scored massive runs in three previous matches and that was not mentioned by you at all.  As per normal you spread shot 90% of the time.

And de Kock flopped again today with another pathetic shot. Our supposed star batsmen always fails just when the team needs him to step up. His record opening the Indian ODIs ….48,5,6…..total 59, As usual his good score came under easy conditions and then he flopped when the pressure was on. Meanwhile the reviled Klaasen made 74, 30, 34…..total 138.

But Ock would be great playing Sri Lanka in Potch.
