So Markram

....another mediocre series averaging 25. Today was the day he could have won the series with a great innings. But bulging muscles, great swinging bat movement and that WG Grace gaze doesn’t ensure the small motor muscle control needed to track movement. Another very disappointing failure.

What is the batting average of   Klaasen?   Remember - he was the guy you wanted in ye team at all costs.

In ‘ye team’ gosh that must have been a long time ago.

Moz stop speaking utter shit - what counts is his average of 60 odd against SL and Pakistan in the real format of the game

No failure in that - pure class that young lad

I see he averaged 95 in the recent domestic 4 day comp

ODI’s and T20’s is Mickey Mouse stuff

Markram is probably a little too attacking in ODI cricket - he needs to reign it in a bit

But who cares really, as long as he keeps averaging 60 in tests as he has in his last two series im all smiles

Dave you are 100% correct in this case.   Mozart always target Markram and De Kockl for  criticism  - but never the real duds in the team.   He just is aa prejudiced idiot when it comes to player assessments,

I would change he batting line-up in ODI's to the following:=

Malan, De Kock, Markram, Miller, Verreynne, Bavuma  - not all there really - rather Linde, Muller and then the bowlers.

There should be no places in the team for Klaasen and JJ Smuts with Bavuma and Van der Dussen questionable. as the latter is also not trustworthy - one swallow does not make the summer.   A century after 1 run in the previous game is not all that helpful in the longer term development.
