Obviously the bowlers in general and Rabada in particular were culpable. Our senior bowler should do better.
But with a very high run rate required the two batsmen who put us under pressure were de Ock 21 runs off 21 balls and Miller, who seemed way out of sorts scoring 11 off 11 balls.
Hendricks and Rossouw did their best with 1.9 run rates. Markram too but his rate only became respectable when the cause was already lost. The rest were in a hit and hope situation.
Hendricks emerges with the highest total for the Proteas of 172….51 runs ahead of de Ock who couldn’t produce the goods when the pressure was on….again.
