Stubbs has been an absolute find.
Still an infant in the international game but it's easy to see that he belongs.
Who knows, perhaps he could have a few bad years and I'll receiving some egg but I have seen a lot of him batting and he's easily deserving of his spot.
To put it into perspective, his Test average while still a baby in the international game, is only 4 less than Markram's...who is basically the De Allende of the Proteas.
For me, international cricket takes plenty of adapting to. So I'm happy for a player to struggle for a year or two. If he's got the first class credentials, then that's proof that he deserves a decent shot at stepping up.
But if he's still struggling 8 years later...then 1st class was obviously his ceiling.
Denise has likely never seen Stubbs bat...so one could excuse 10% of her ignorance. The other 90% she has to wear haha

Apologies on the other string, it’s hard to get this chart to format and there’s no way of changing the other posting. Stubbs test average is 33.3, his ODI average is 41.5 and his T20 average is 29.13 decent enough for a young player.
