Manchester City are trying to sign Jeremy Doku from Rennes in the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Italian journalist has reported on Twitter City, who won the Premier League, the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League last season, are pushing to get a deal done for Doku, who himself is keen on a move to the Etihad Stadium.

Romano has added that City are also determined to sign Lucas Paqueta from Premier League rivals West Ham United in the summer transfer window. The Citizens are working on a new bid for the Brazil international attacking midfielder and could make an offer this week.
Doku has been on the books of Rennes since 2020 when he joined from Anderlecht. The 21-year-old Belgium international winger made 13 starts and 16 substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Rennes last season, scoring six goals and providing two assists in the process.
