Self-styled "Secretary of War" Pete Hegsuck has fired US Army Chief of Staff General Randy George, along with two other generals.
In other words, a weak, wife-beating, hard-drinking religious zealot who never amounted to anything in the army and left to become a talk show host has fired the most senior officer in the US Army, a West Point graduate and career infantry officer who has served as Chief of Staff since 2023, who was deployed multiple times in Iraq and Afghanistan serving in the 101st Airborne Division during Desert Storm, who commanded the 173rd Airborne Brigade during the Iraq War, commanded the 4th Brigade Combat Team during the War in Afghanistan, held positions on the Army Staff and Joint Staff before being deployed to Afghanistan again where he commanded the 4th Infantry Division.
So why was this decorated and experienced veteran fired, even though he was busy deploying forces in Iran and was responsible for providing air and missile defence capabilities to the joint force?
Well, it seems he was too friendly with Army Secretary Dan Driscoll who Hegsuck perceives as a threat to his public image after he brought the Signal scandal to light (when Hegsuck and other cabinet members discussed strikes against the Houthis in Yemen using a messaging app and a journalist got added "by mistake"). Driscoll's name was brought up repeatedly as a replacement for Hegsuck after this embarrassing gaffe that Bozo brushed under the carpet.
The other two generals he fired were Chief of Chaplains Major General William Green Jr (too black) and the head of Army Transformation and Training General David Hodne (too woke).
Add these to the growing list of senior generals and Pentagon officials that this spiteful and vindictive suck-up has fired since assuming an office he is clearly not qualified for.
Hegsuck is cutting down on generals (especially black or female ones) but the department that is growing in the Pentagon is the Public Relations department where Hegsuck sits potential soldiers behind desks so they can sift through social media and find out if any military people are saying negative things about him. That's their new job.
This is the pitifully weak and unhinged loser who is Bozo's "Secretary of War" and who is making significant decisions in the Iran conflict.
No wonder it's become Operation Epic Fail.
