There are 3 other tournaments taking place this week - only dealt with the TPA500 tournament in Rio - but not the PTA250 tournaments. These three are in -
* Doha
* Marseilles
* Delray Beach
DOHA
Final
2 Roberto Bautista-Agut vs 3 Nikoloz Basilashvili
Winner - 2 Roberto Bautista-Agut. Congratulations on a great achievement.
MARSEILLES
Quarterfinals
Top half of the Draw
1 Stefano Tsitsipas vs Roman Safiullin
3 Felix Auger-Aliassime vs 5 Ilya Ivashka
Bottom Half of the Draw
7 Aslan Karatsev vs Benjamin Bonzi
2 Andrey Rublev vs Lucas Poulle
Semifinals
3 Felix Auger-Aliassime vs Roman Safiullin
2 Andrey Rublev vs Benjamin Bonzi
Final
2 Andrey Rublev vs 3 Felix Auger-Aliassime
Rublev won the final in 2 sets. Maybe this year he will perform better than in 2021 if he can get over his psychological problem - he has the talent and ability - but often self-destruct under pressure. He won this match and could start getting him thinking constructively during games. Congratulation anyway. His next challenge is in Dubai starting tomorrow- and Auger-Aliassime is also off to Dubai. However, the latter is in the top half of he draw and Rublev is in the bottom half - so it is impossible for them to play each other again - unless they meet in the final. It is unlikely that both will play before Tuesday anyway.
