Nadal crushes the next generation to dominate the French

They keep writing off the Big 3. The modern generation is too big, too fast, they hit the ball too hard. But in the last 20 Grand Slam events, only 2 events have not been won by the big 3. And in one of those 2 there was a Big 3 runner up. So only in 1 of the last 20 majors was there no Big 3 player in the final.

This is dominance…massive dominance.

I keep trying to explain to our book keeper why this is happening, but he just doesn’t get it….mesmerized by ball speed, spin rates, ratings points and unimportant tournaments. Every year there is a new seuntjie….Rublev last year, Alcatraz this year. But they were nowhere near the finals that have been played.

The fact is 3 set matches are a different contest. Majors have a different level of pressure. It becomes as much mental as physical. All the big 3 have incredibly well developed patterns of play that protect their relative weaknesses and accentuate their strengths. They don’t blink when the pressure is on. They know how to win. Their games have been honed by competition.

Clearly time is wearing them down….Federer is probably gone, Nadal has to manage himself carefully and Djokovic seems to have a lot of pressure in his life. But if they are fit and signed up for a Major they are still most likely to win.

And it’s been a privilege watching these men play the game.

Your views are warped  - Nadal hasd one easy win in the tournament for the rest he had the luck of a pox-doctor.   Ruud is not the best youngster around and he was  easily beaten - but eh has been beaten by alll the better youngsters in the past.   Djokovic last year woin tournaments - this year he was poor.    Nadal is not going to win anything on the hard courts - he might win the Wimbledon Eshibition matches - bt that means nothing since the prize money has been halved and there is no ranking points to nbe gtten from thats eries.   The Wimbledon series this year is not a Major tennis tournament and participation is meaningless and I wonder whether Nadal is going to play in that exhibition series.

Nadal was crushing the player that whipped your seuntjie. So much so the guy got seriously hurt….run into the ground. Just eat your egg like a good Oom.

Nadal was not cruising ion his previous three  tournaments  - so what are you talking about dimness?

Poofter I’m talking about a Major….the Big Three are playing to win Majors, they don’t care about Barcelona. Eat you egg…you surely deserve it.

The big three will not compete in the Wimbledon Exhibition Tournament this year -so it is NOT a Major tournament and the third remaining tournament will not be won by Nadal.   The story that the  three only count the majors as of important and the rest of the tournaments played in a year is not important is unimaginable BS.

I may have egg or do you think the players like Federer, Nadal and Djokovic all said you have to work hard throughout the year in tournaments to qualify for the EOY Championship - which they regard as the most important to win are all liars?.
