He was not up to standard in the Aussie Open and could be a surprise winner in this case.
2 top ten ranked players are playing in the other 2 tournaments - Carlos Alcaraz in Argentina and Taylor Fritz in the Delray Open. Alcaraz did not play in any tournament since October 2022 due to injury - this is apparently a series he should win if he is to be competitive in the Rio series next week.
