The schedule are as follows:-

ATP 500 Matches 24 to 30 October 2022

Vienna Open

Swiss Open (Basil)

ATP 1000 match - 31 October to 6 November 2022

Paris Open

That is followed by the -

*    Next Generation Finals - 8 to 12 November 2022; and

*    The ATP Finals             - 13 to 20 November 2022

Leaving out the last two tournaments, there are still -

*    8 ATP 250 tournaments - giving limited points to get into the ATP Finals - even if a player plays in all the ATP 250 tournaments he will only have three maximum number of tournaments he can play on that level;

*    4 ATP 500 tournaments to be played - 2 of which is in the same week - so the maximum number of matches to be played by any payer will be 2; and

*    1    ATP 1000 tournament.

For Djokovic to get into the ATP Finals he will have to win in at least one ATP 500 tournament and in the remaining ATP1000 tournament and competing players with more ranking points will have to be eliminated early in those tournaments.
