started past Saturday. Keep an eye on leading trainer Chris Waller and leading stable jockey James McDonald(JMac). Wouldn't surprise me if he wins the Melbourne Cup back to back.

Denny thanks for the info.  Is the races run at Melton part of the Spring festival.

May I ask you 2 questions about Racing  in Australia:-

*    I have been watching horse racing  in  Australia and  the commentators said that William  Pyke is a top class jockey,   My experience is he is super-shit - want to losse money back a favorite he si riding.

*     There is a trainer called Packham and three jockeys by the same surname.   Is  the trainer the father of the three jockey?

On the Betway website in SA the odds are often not reflected and I recently took a bet of R50 on a horse rideden by Chad Schofield.    So when I went on site a ter I woke up I found my credit on my betting account unexpectedly high and decided which SP baets I put money on won.   Then I found out the horse ridden by Schofield won - the odds being 40/1 - was the only winner - the res of the horses with lower odds all lost.    .

The Melbourne carnival is run on two courses only i.e. Flemington, Caulfield and Moonie Valley.

William Pyke rides in Perth, is their leading jockey, had a stint in Sydney and had mixed results.

Not knowing, never heard, sounds like a country outfit.

Chad is riding very well, tied to the Annabelle Neesham stable who is an up and coming trainer, has branched out on her own after working with a leading Melbourne based stable(Ciarion Maher).

Stick with Chris Waller, he is an XPlus trainer specially over long distances the man is a genius, as I've said JMac rides for him and gets the best rides. Last year JMac set a record by winning 10 G1 races.
