Nobody cares… .there are 5 tournaments that matter, the 4 Majors and the Year End championship. Everything else is just practice for the top players.

Fact is there are four major tournaments in every year - but in 2020 there were only 3 and now again in 2022 there are only 3 again. In both cases the Wimbledon tournament was either not played or became an exhibition tournament costing players huge points needed for the EOY Championships. Both Djokovic and Berrettini is out of contention for that series at present and is likely that they will not participate this year in the latter series.
The Decision by the England tennis authorities to ban Russian players have backfired on the players themselves and the organizes were embarrassed by a Russian girl winning the Woman's series anyway. Medvedev owns a home in Monaco and Rublev one in Florida - and the latter could have married his Latvian girl friend and played for Latvia. Both are honest people and they would not have played anyway if other Russian players were banned. By the way Shapovalov is from Russian descent - but has Israeli and Canadian citizenship and Karatsev is also an Israeli citizen. All the Russian players condemned the Ukraine war publicly - but Wimbledon required from them to politically attack Putin - which they could not do for a variety of reasons. If the Wimbledon organizers did their homework they would not have come up with the BS they ended up with.
.
Every site I have seen that has updated their records, classifies Novak as having 21 Majors…including the ATP site. You are the only person in the world
I’ve seen who doesn’t.
Every site you have seen is not reflecting the true situation. If Djok0ovic is credited with a 21 major win it would have given him ranking points. At present he is ranked no 7 in the world because of the disastrous decision of the Wimbledon organizers who are trying to prevent the world from realizing the blunder they made.
The media is one thing reality is something entirely different.
Show me one site that has been updated since the final that doesn’t have the Joker at 21 Majors. They all do….including the ATP site.
Schplotttttttttttt!
Love it to see tripe on site. If Djokovic won the Grand
Slam why is he NOW 7th ranked player in the world? Get some thinking ability going. .

Jason Kubler2 John Isner vs 6 Maxime Cressy
by the way the number 1 seeded player at Bastad (Casper Ruud) was beaten in Round 2 and the number 1 seeded player at Newport (Felix Auger-Alliassime) is in danger of suffering the same fate. The latter won the first set - lost the second set and the third set was interrupted and the situation is that the set went with serve and Auger-Aliassime is leading 6-5 with his opponent to serve - quite likely a tie-breaker in the final set with nobody knowing what will happen in the tie-breaker if it is to be played. .In the end Jason Kubler beat Augur-Aliassime winning the final set tiebreak.

Francisco Cerundolo won the trophy - his first on AIP level. Congrats to the guy. Weird - but the Newport tournament was won by another unseeded player Maxime Cressy - also winning his first ATP title. Congrats ti him as well.
Bublik is scheduled to play in Hamburg tomorrow. the game last night ended at about 23:00 and he has to play in Hamburg tomorrow. Will he be able to get to Hamburg today to play there tomorrow?
