According to the media Alcaraz has a wrist injury called Tenosynovitis - an injury Nadal also suffered from. If not treated promptly it can be career-ending and it is in this case the reason for Alcaraz not playing any tennis until the end of July 2026.
Howewer it is not confined to wrist injuries only and effect knees and ankle injuries as well and over time it has ffected many top tennis players,
If the sportsperson is not treated properly and continues participating in tennis it can wreck the playin g career of tennis players, ALcaraz felt something went wrong in Monte Carlo and since then has not played in any tournament, .
