It’s a groin injury I believe….you can’t change direction if you have that injury. His body is beginning to implode.

I saw the match and he was touchng his one foot and ankle twice during the fors set - especially in the finaal two games.
hat I am not sure is what Djokovic will play in tournaments thsi year, He lost in the first series in which he played in Round 2 and the enxt phase on hard courts are in the USA and Mexico.

The tennis world was gushing about Carlos’ form so far in the Aussie open. He looked bulked up and the view is he is hitting it harder. Asked to pick a winner in the Carlos/Joker match Navrilatova focused on Carlos’ bigger game.
And it looked bleak when Novak injured himself trying to get to a wide forehand in the first set. But after pain meds kicked in he played a brilliant late second set. And then dominated the back court exchanges. Some of the points were spectacular with Carlos pounding the ball but the Joker finding impossible angles in a great display of cerebral tennis.
It’s always harder for the old Lion in these generational contests, but then again, the Joker is the Goat
