The race is being run tomorrow, I'm not up to speed with Richard Fourie's comings but I believe it's a BS story. Via Sistina will win the Queen Elizabeth at short odds while Alalcance will win the Sydney Cup(3200m) also at short odds.

Just checked the racecard. Richard Fourie is not carded to ride in any race at Randwick tomorrow.
I did see some familiar names among the jokeys who are riding. Are Z Lloyd and C Schofield related to Jeff and Glynn respectively?
What I saw was after midnght and involved a long discussion by Aussie comentators. What they also said was the race over the last 5 years was won 3 times by the same trainer and they mentioned Fourie in the same conversation. So tell me is the favourite trained by a trainer that won the race three times during the past 5 years?
Also the odds on the favourite and who will ride as well as the odds on the onc in the sydney cup. I may take a double on those two races, On betway I would have to get SP bets only and would like to know what the odds will look like to determine wherthe the ebt ewill be worthwile. . Thanks in advance
Took a double on the two horses you mentioned anyway, An chance that Schofield or Lloyd wwill wn anything?
Yes that is correct, the trainer's name is Chris Waller, I have mentioned his name to you in previous posts.
He trained Winx. Is a Hall of Famer and has been the leading trainer in Sydney for a number of years. Via Sistina is a champion to be ridden by Waller's leading jockey James McDonald who has just come back from a stint in Hong Kong. He is brilliant. So there you have it, in a G1 race Via Sistina is a champion, trained by a champion and to be ridden by a champion. Betting....2/1.
Alalcance is showing $2.80/1 and although not in the class of Via Sistina I believe has a good chance of winning following up on past Saturday's win. The track will be good without being hard.
Chad is Glynn Schofield's son, showed a great deal of promise in his earlier career as an apprentice especially when he won the G1 Cox plate. Went overseas for quite a while after copping repeated suspensions.... I would describe him as an underperformer, good without being exceptional.
Zac Lloyd is Jeff Lloyd's son, he only recently came out of his apprenticeship and is simply brilliant both in character and as a jockey. The kid has a huge future ahead of him and has a huge demand for his service. He'll ride a winner today I just don't know in which race??
There is another G1 named the Australian Oaks and the favourite Treasure Moment to be ridden by Melbourne's champion jockey Damien Lane has an unbackable price.
It's going to be a sensational day of racing as the Sydney Spring Carnival works towards the Everest which I think is next week.
GL guys I hope I've been of help and that you back a winner or two.
ps I forgot to mention 'Fangirl' R9 another Waller/Jmac combination showing odds of 2/1....think she'll win.
Just watched the first of the G1's won by Treasurethe Moment which I tipped but as I said it had an unbackable price(1.55). A bit disappointing in that it was a sit and sprint and not truly run.
Anyway that's one down another four G1's to go. As for myself it's par for the course, I picked up 2 quinellas and a couple of wins.
ps Just a word on Alalcance, she's drawn the car park(15) not ideal but I think Tim Clark will take her to the front and lead from the start.
Via Sistina Won!!!!
What a horse, what a Jockey what a Trainer!!!!
Hope you guys got on??
Fangirl Won!!!!
What a combo Chris Waller and JMac!
Thanks Denny,
I must tell you that both Jeff Lloyd and Schofield always sad that th Aussie jockeys e not up t t heir standard and Jeff at one stage considered sending Zac to Summerveld -for ockey training.
I suspect that what the story about Fourie is that some coach in Australia is goin to contract him to ride in Australia. He is a defnite star Jockey and he mentione in an interview earlier this year that eh ahd offers and consider various options as to riding outside of SA - but eh did not like Hong Kong and I suspect that what the two Aussie comnetators was that he is moving to Australia and may end up riding for Wller or one of the other top Aussie trainers,
So watch out maybe the Aussie commentators became aware of that issue and mentioned it - but nothing on that score waas mentioned in local news.

Hilarious, sure it's not the other way around? Lloyd couldn't crack in Sydney. Sydney and Melbourne metro are the creme de la creme of Australian racing. Glyn was the only one who made it in Sydney and rode in the MC but for the rest, and there's a few, they either ride in outback meetings or in QLD and Morphetville.
Callan Murray rode over here and even he couldn't crack the big stage. Everything drops a level or two in metro Perth, QLD and South Australia, worse in the country, for example the horses are less expensive and the prize money is considerably less.

First of all when is the Queen Elizabeth Cup race. Why I ask is that some commentators said that Richard Fourie was asked to ride the hourse. I think the race is in Sidney. I did notice that Fouries is not ruiding anything tomorrow - so he may be on his way to Sydney,
Any news n your pat on this one will be appeciated very much,
