The Odds on Betway is not out yet. I am going to make my sufggestion on bets within the next week .

It may be difficult to identify the winners since 12 are 3 and 4 year olds 7 are 5 year-olds and 1 6 year old,

My picks may be from 10 to 13 this year - but the Draws and jocks are going to influence the outcomes, Wtch ou fr the Horse to be ridden by Fourie though,

Tx Mike, I'll have a look.

It's a big field.

Snaith has entered 6....all are jockey unknown.

Denny

Richard Fourie is riding Eight on Eighteen and is the hot pot favourite at 17/10 - the odds on t he other horses are 8/1 or higher. That is the only horse I am putting on R200 - a very big bet for me. I cannot see how it could be beaten/.

Woo did win ?

  1. THE REAL PRINCE (4G) Dean Kannemeyer 120

Bred from an Ozzie sire.

It had never raced past 1600m so would have been a hard pick over to win over the tough July 2200m

EIGHT ON EIGHTEEN finished 8th ?

Durban – In a thrilling duel to the line, The Real Prince was crowned king at Hollywoodbets Greyville. Ridden by Craig Zackey and trained by Dean Kannemeyer, The Real Prince narrowly got the better of race favourite Eight On Eighteen. Third was Selukwe with Royal Victory finishing strongly for fourth.

Rolling in Rands are you Mike?

My late grandfather always referred to horse racing as a sport made for clowns.

But I also placed the odd bet on the Durban July as my in-laws always had the inside scoop on the winner as they said.

Won a few Rands on trainer S Laird thumbs up but could never get excited on the sport.

Always preferred the JSE to earn some cash and KR's.

But trust you folks are above water.
