If Faf isn't on this list, then I can't take it seriously.
That midget is as tough a player as I've seen on a field.
And let's also remember Kwagga. At about 180cm and 85kgs, bossing far bigger men on the regular.

Kwagga is definitely not 85kg he is 100kg
Chabal, yes would be number one on my list.
Watching a 2002 game between Boks and England would see 10 players red carded by TMO
I remember Aplon flattening Matfield.
RWC final Savea's weight listed as 95k
Kwagga weight at RWC given as 100kg.
Many people flattened the puny matfiled.
No list is complete without Bakkies.
Bakkies is mentioned. However Bakkies and Mamuka often played against each other in their different French franchises and Bakkies in one confrontation met his match against Gorgodze who got the upper hand.
They appeared to have huge respect for each other.
Mamuka was Georgian captain, and as tough as teak and hard as nails, indestructable who played both lock and loose forward and would have made it in any team. The "Rocky Marciano" of rugby.
Interview...he and Bakkies were mates, often shared a frosty after a game.

I tend to agree with Bismarck Du Plessis (in his prime) and Mamuka Gorgodze and Colin Meads in his peak and Jonah Lomu and Ray Mordt. Eben Etzebeth as well and Tomas Lavani ni and Sebastien Chabal.
Note it's not necessary the weight.
