Newlands cricket, rugby and Kelvin Grove was as perfect a set up for sports as you would find anywhere. Have tea at Kelvin and watch the evening session at the cricket. Civilized.

It was great to see a near full capacity game yesterday. I don't think Newlands could get that many in, or they might have squeezed 45 000. I remember way back when when it was still standing that you could squeeze more people in.
So if you do a quick calculation and average the ticket prices, I think the Stormers got nearly R10 million on ticket sales. I'm not sure what the deal is with Cape town stadium and how much they have to pay for the season but with that money the Stormers can easily pay nearly 2 Damian Willemse
I hope next weekend is another big turn out. Love seeing the crowds back.
Just hope they can get the sharks and bulls back on track as well as the lions
Here is wishing for a top 4 for all SA teams
