Reversal of form for Oz winning 24-19. Big shock was them destroying the Bok scrum!
Reversal of form for Oz winning 24-19. Big shock was them destroying the Bok scrum!
Not surprised.
If the Abs knocked on only 50% less last week they'd have put serious numbers past the Boks.
The weather disguised a very ordinary performance and this week they got found out.
Disappointing from the Baby Boks …but the OZ pack dominance, laid the foundation for some good tries ….Boks also found lacking on defence and Good Coaching.
This is what happens when you have a quota coach at the helm. Don't need to say much when your first name is Bfana. Remember the team with the same name and play with a round ball.
He looked good in the 6 nations that was played in SA, but back then the team probably had exposure to Rassie and Nienaber and you could see a similar style being played.
When ever he is on his own, the team implodes.
Remember the SA A team that he coach against Bristol and how poorly they lost to Bristol B team.
Barely made a dent in the junior world cup.
We need proper coaches at age group.
If you need a development coach then go do it at provinces. Not at this level
Agreed this clown is way out of his depth, last years side was pretty average and they ended 4th
Now we are heading for bottom of the table after what looked like a solid enough performance against the AB’s - I thought we were the better side considering the AB’s are far better equipped at playing in those conditions.
Given the standard of our school sides there is absolutely no reason on earth we cannot come up with dominant under 20 sides each year
Given we play very few competitive matches surely each match should be about winning and selecting the best side for each game. Instead we see this clown make 9 changes from the AB game including playing a 7 out of position at 4. Biggest joke was starting JF v Heerden on the bench against the AB’s - our best player
This clown needs to be sacked, he is a complete token
There is spmethng srious amiss in the team I watched this morning. There was cvirtually no game pan = the props not entering when the Aussies used friving mauls.- the defense being deficient and poor ball skills by the backline. It seems that they tried to play a typical Bulls game. Poor kicking and it allowed te Auussies to counter-attack
He is fucking useless
Bester
ran a Joe Cool line for his try….other than that nothing much to celebrate.
Oz played Ozzie rugby while the South Africans played their traditional one dimensional bash it up rugby. Nothing has changed.....they haven't learnt.
Even if we beat the Argies we look the prime contender for the wooden spoon.......... but that's ok, apparently this competition's about building depth & watching players' grow.
apparently this competition's about building depth & watching players' grow.
Downright lame and ridiculous .
Don't forget, the swamp that SA played against the all blacks. It was more who got lucky than playing the game.
Glad to see we have Rassie still at senior level. My fear was that Stick or Davids would get the gig while Rassie and Nienaber rides off into the sunset.
We had two previous quota clowns, not to mention a few none quota clowns like Markgraaf and Steuli
Being a Bok coach in this transformation era ( not for the ones that get pushed into a Job without the necessary Qualifications ) must be very strenuous….every little move you make gets scrutinised and labelled as Racism….so who knows why Nienhaber really left, but I am willing to bet that SA Rugby in a whole has got something to do with it….Rassie might get tired sooner than later.
Rassie’s next call needs to sacking this useless Baby Bok coach much like the Blitz Bok coach was sacked
We should have someone like Jacques Fourie taking the Baby Boks
Didn’t the baby boks lose to Italy under this clown. These guys, same as stick, and that blitz boks quota coach believes that they have made it. But I’m sure the coaches don’t know what they are talking about.
It is their attitude, just cringed every time I saw stick speak. Stating the obvious all the time. Didn’t see a single thing that he does
The sooner this ignorant fool gets the boot the better
Johan Ackerman wants to return to SA - give him the job
Can you believe that that utterly token coach went into the game against Argentina moving our two squad 12’s , one to fullback and the other to flyhalf.
So in fact we had 5 centres playing in the backline - 15, 11, 13, 12 and 10.
We managed to win the game by 2 points after being 21-7 down at halftime or something
So clearly this fool was not happy with his squad flyhalves and fullbacks so decided to employ his centres there instead. You mean to tell me than in the whole of SA there are no quality under 20 flyhalves and fullbacks around?
Of the bits I have seen the flyhalves and fullbacks in this Baby Bok squad were pretty shit as were the 9’s so what’s going on with the selections along with a good few other average looking players in that squad. Can’t say a single loosie, hooker or prop impressed me. Apart from JF v Heerden at lock the other locks hardly impressed. The 8 who is based in France looked solid enough
Their best loosie Fuller hardly got any game time
Sack this token joke

Australia U20s ready to up the tempo against South Africa's "big boys"
Australia U20s won’t be daunted by the size of South Africa’s pack heading into Tuesday night’s TRC U20 clash on the Sunshine Coast.
The Junior Springboks impressed at scrum time during a 13-all draw with New Zealand last week and will look to target Nathan Grey’s side after the Aussies conceded five scrum penalties in their 25-6 loss to Argentina.
Catch all the action from TRC U20 LIVE and exclusive on Stan Sport.
But with conditions clearing on the Sunshine Coast and 10 changes to Australia's starting line up, flanker Aden Ekanayake believes his side can up the tempo and take the fight to South Africa.
“We’re a pretty skillful team that likes to play a style of footy where we throw the long passes. It won’t just be around the corner stuff,” Ekanayake told rugby.com.au
“South Africa will definitely be a challenge. They’re a quality team with big boys but we’ve got big boys as well … and I definitely think we have the crop to give the World Cup and the rest of these games a red-hot crack.”
A product of Barker College and Gordon Rugby Club, Ekanayake has enjoyed a breakout 12 months featuring game time with the Aussie Sevens and a stint as Australian Schools & 18s skipper.
“Sevens is always fun and but it’s always good to get back into 15s, especially representing your country,” Ekanayake said.
“The professionalism and training load is insane at Sevens and it’s a big toll on the body … but the way the boys carry themselves and the standards they set is something I’ve definitely taken across into 15s.”
Australia U20s kick off against the Junior Springboks at 7pm AEST on Tuesday 7 May live and exclusive on Stan Sport.
Admission to Sunshine Coast Stadium is free with TRC U20 games commencing at 5pm AEST (New Zealand v Argentina).
