There has been so much utter shit on this site for some time now with loads of childish bickering and nothing sports related.

Fuck sake guys we have a CC semi final on tomorrow and there has been nothing from you so called rugby followers.

Get with the fucking program. Here is my 2 cents worth

15 David Kriel, 14 Kurt-Lee Arendse, 13 Stedman Gans, 12 Cornal Hendricks, 11 Stravino Jacobs, 10 Morne Steyn, 9 Ivan van Zyl, 8 Duane Vermeulen (c), 7 Elrigh Louw, 6 Marco van Staden, 5 Ruan Nortje, 4 Sintu Manjezi, 3 Trevor Nyakane, 2 Schalk Erasmus, 1 Lizo Gqoboka.

Subs: 16 Johan Grobbelaar, 17 Jacques van Rooyen, 18 Mornay Smith, 19 Jan Uys, 20 Arno Botha, 21 Embrose Papier, 22 Chris Smith, 23 Marco Jansen van Vuren.

I like the Bulls backs except for Morne at 10 and Hendricks at 12. Kriel has been a find at 15 and Gans has been very creative at 13 thanks to his 7’s days. Jacobs is a unit on the wing. v Zyl has been very good at 9, his coming of age season

In the forwards they have a great front row and a good loose trio. They are missing the grunt of Walt Steenkamp at lock. Nortje is another Mostert, full of heart and energy with no physical productivity. v Staaden has impressed me at 6 with his power and Louw has been a find at 7

15 Tiaan Swanepoel, 14 Stean Pienaar, 13 Wandisile Simelane, 12 Burger Odendaal, 11 Courtnall Skosan, 10 Elton Jantjies (c), 9 Andre Warner, 8 Len Massyn, 7 Vincent Tshituka, 6 Jaco Kriel, 5 Marvin Orie, 4 Willem Alberts, 3 Jannie du Plessis, 2 Jaco Visagie, 1 Sti Sithole.

Subs: 16 Jan-Henning Campher, 17 Ruan Dreyer, 18 Carlu Sadie, 19 Reinhard Nothnagel, 20 Wilhelm van der Sluys, 21 Morne van den Berg, 22 Dan Kriel, 23 Francke Horn, 24 Nathan McBeth, 25 EW Viljoen, 26 Ross Cronje.

I like the Lions backs except for the fact that Warner has replaced the impressive vd Bergh at 9, makes no sense at all. Love the power of Pienaar on the wing and Similane has had and outstanding season at 13

The forwards are a letdown. Jannie at 3 is a joke, Sadie should be starting. Sithole has been good at loosehead, looks a good prospect. The lock pair are just plain crap. Alberts is not a lock. Tshituka is a great prospect at 7, I’d like to see him at 8

Western Province

15 Damian Willemse, 14 Sergeal Petersen, 13 Dan du Plessis, 12 Rikus Pretorius, 11 Angelo Davids, 10 Tim Swiel, 9 Herschel Jantjies, 8 Juarno Augustus, 7 Johan du Toit, 6 Siya Kolisi (c), 5 JD Schickerling, 4 Salmaan Moerat, 3 Frans Malherbe, 2 Bongi Mbonambi, 1 Ali Vermaak.

Subs (from): 16 Scarra Ntubeni, 17 Leon Lyons, 18 Neethling Fouche, 19 Chris van Zyl, 20 Ernst van Rhyn, 21 Jaco Coetzee, 22 Paul de Wet, 23 Ruhan Nel, 24 Sazi Sandi, 25 Tristan Leyds.

Big fan of the WP backs. Davids is another Kolbe with dancing feet. Dan du Plessis has had a good season and Rickus at 12 gets better and better as he finds his feet at this level.

Kitshoff is a huge loss in the pack and v Rhyn would have been a better option than PSDT brother who is solid enough. Malherbe has been huge all season and the locks are very good. Not sure why Meihuizen is not the lock sub ahead of useless v Zyl

15 Aphelele Fassi, 14 Sbu Nkosi, 13 Lukhanyo Am (c), 12 Marius Louw, 11 Yaw Penxe, 10 Curwin Bosch, 9 Sanele Nohamba, 8 Sikhumbuzo Notshe, 7 Henco Venter, 6 Dylan Richardson 5 Ruben van Heerden, 4 JJ van Mescht, 3 Thomas du Toit, 2 Fezokuhle Mbatha, 1 Ox Nche.

Subs: 16 Dan Jooste, 17 Mzamo Majola, 18 Michael Kumbirai, 19 Hyron Andrews, 20 Thembelani Bholi, 21 Jaden Hendrikse, 22 Jeremy Ward, 23 Manie Libbok.

The Sharks have the best back line in the competition. The back three are awesome. Penxe is a real find and I am a big fan of Louw at 12 and Nohamba at 9. Am is one of those players who always does the right thing - gifted and has a good rugby brain

Good to see the Sharks finally dump the utterly useless Andrews at lock and have moved the impressive v Heerden to 5 with the man mountain vd Mecht at 4. Huge fan of Ox at 1, he is our new Beast. Good to see Thomas back from injury where he is still learning the art of tighthead scrummaging. Mbatha the U21 captain is handy at 2. Richardson at 6 has been a revelation. Notshe was on fire last year and is getting back to that form after his injury. Not a fan of Venter at 7, he lacks grunt.

Thomas is still learning the art of tighthead?  Amazing, Kempson told us in 2018 he was a tighthead:

Robbie Kempson says Sharks prop Thomas du Toit has made a successful transition from loosehead to tighthead prop. DYLAN JACK reports.

The former Sharks and Western Province prop was critical of Du Toit’s transition earlier in the year, following the 23-year-old’s trial-by-fire against experienced Lions loosehead Jacques van Rooyen in the opening round of Super Rugby.

However, Kempson, who won back-to-back Currie Cup titles with the Sharks in 1995 and 1996, spoke glowingly to about Du Toit’s progress.

‘He has done an incredible amount of work and he should take a lot of the accolades,’ Kempson said. ‘From where he started compared to where he is now, he is a different prop and he can hold his own on the tighthead without question.

But some good comments on the teams.

Well Moz he has been both injured and there has been this thing called a virus so all things considered he has probably had about one seasons worth of playing tighthead
