The set-up to this series in a few months is honestly like a movie. Pity about the bland 2024 matches because the WC final had everything a final in a film should have. The 2025 RC, with the ABs defending Eden against the Bok Old Guard and then being blown away in the second game was a perfect filler film and then this incoming series has the makings of something great. Everything is against the ABs. From recent results to losing their coach, player and administrative concerns...it must seem the like the universe is conspiring again them.

As massive a Bok fan as I am, and as much as every victory over them is sweet as hell, I find a small part of myself wanting them to have success here!!!??? It's the underdog thing and I can't help it.

Plumpster try being a whole hearted Bok supporter. Us full on Bok supporters have clear minds and never have tie ourselves up in knots. We can actually enjoy all our wins and the success of the coach and players and do not find the need to be complaining night and day about the Boks.

Good choice Becs….here’s an amusing story. The first Ferrari I had was a spider. We had gone up to the Lake District and on the way back decided to follow the country lanes. It was a lovely day and I put the top down. A sweet smell became apparent. A long discussion followed about aromatic Lake District plants.
But pretty soon the temperature gauge started soaring. We limped into a village and a local mechanic soon spotted that the pipe from the front radiator to the engine at the back, had separated. He did a patch with some available materials, good enough to get us to London. The smell we were on about was coolant!
Lots of moaning about Italian construction followed the two hour delay, but little doubt the convertible gave us the full aromatic experience
Dave we have competed with NZ for over a 100 years, generally with good sportsmanship. I thought NZ fans on here were very generous after the last WC. We have seen far worse tackles not getting red cards. On here they never used it as an excuse. It’s one of those rare things in sports, respect among adversaries.
Why then does our coach take a cheap shot when they are down. You can be sure nobody in NZ is enjoying it and it certainly isn’t helping Brown either. No need for it.

“Coaching the All Blacks has been the honour of my life. I am incredibly proud of what this team has achieved and of the progress we have made. We have brought through a talented group of young players, strengthened the depth across the squad, and set solid foundations for the years ahead.
“Following the end of year review I have taken time to reflect on some of the feedback. My priority has always been the success of the All Blacks and, after discussions with New Zealand Rugby, I believe it is in the best interests of the team for me to step aside.
