The official appointment of the new Bok coach – widely expected to be Jacques Nienaber – may only be ratified in the new year.

At the end of November, SA Rugby president Mark Alexander said they hoped the new Springbok coach would be named by the end of 2019.

However, according to TimesLive, one of the agents or legal representatives required to complete the process is currently away on a festive season break.

SA Rugby has heard the recommendations from director of rugby and World Cup-winning coach Rassie Erasmus, and contracts have reportedly been offered to the new team, but paper work and legalities have to be completed.

It appears that this may only be concluded some time in January.

Nienaber is expected to be the man who will step into the ‘head coach’ hot seat, while former Kings coach Deon Davids may replace forwards coach Matt Proudfoot, who has been linked with a move abroad.

Paper Talk: Proudfoot set to leave Bok coaching staff

Mzwandile Stick and Irishman Felix Jones, who were part of Erasmus’s coaching team at the World Cup in Japan, could also remain part of the management staff.

If this was a rubber stamp exercise I'm sure Fedex could get a signature page to the vacationing party.....and get the executed document back by the end of the week. Egg flows freely!

As for the reason given.....only in  South Africa!

Mozart

The Board rubberstamped  what Erasmus wanted and that was the end of the story.  If SRU did what they did in the past they would have advertised the posts and/or  interviewed candidates like they did in the past.   What the Board did was just a pro forma approval to legalize the appointments,   Stupidity remains your one and only attribute when it comes to rugby,

There was already a thread started on this issue and it again showed that you are indeed stupid beyond belief.   Happy Idiots Day to you moron.

Mozart don't worry - w know where you come from,   I said roundabout early February next year,   Have you ever compiled a contract of employment?    There must be full agreement on all points through negotiation based on the requirements of both  contracting parties and the act is that Erasmus must also be satisfied with the conditions of employment of his subordinates - not what was the case in the past where SARU decided  in the issue and the duds we had as the last three coaches were given their assisting staff and had no say as to their assistants,

Not as easy to finalize since Erasmus was the one to be satisfied with all conditions as well.   |Perhaps if you read the Rich article on Erasmus's own appointment you may have otten the message,     LMAO.

Learn what dofdoos?   Both of you were wrong iro Erasmus own appointment - he never was  appointed as Head Coach,   When that was settled - no apology.   But  Mozart lies and BS started even before his actual appointment - Erasmus is a coward who ran away from responsibilities,

Next thing is became clear that there will be no selection committee - he will pick the squad and playing team.   He will decide on the game plan - no interference from SARU,    Erasmus also decided on the coaching staff and what he decided  will be approved by SARU,    It happened with the initial staff and kept Proudfoot - but pick the others.   When De Bruyn departed because of health reasons - Erasmus called up Jones - who  was one of his assistants at Munster.

Them followed the standard attack by Mozart and AO at the end of 2018 and when the Springboks won the RC Erasmus was compared as a poor coach compared to Meyer.   When the Springboks won the WC the attack hardly let up and attention turned to the appointment of the Head Coach,.   Out came total stupidity as to organizational structures,   That the Head Coach falls functionally under the Director of Rugby,   Winning the WC strengthened Erasmus hand even more.

However, in the latter case the idiocy reached total proportions.   Venter wrote that Erasmus will pick his supporting staff and Mozart and you both said it was BS,   I had some information on the issue and stated that Venter is right.   The site idiots went ballistic and I phoned SARU to get clarity on the issue.   The person I spoke to confirmed that Erasmus will pick the supporting staff and that an announcement on appointments will ne made by not later than February 2020.

What you two idiots do not want to understand is that for audit purposes there needs to be a Board approval for all appointments.   It is just a rubberstamp approval - nothing else,    I guess that where such approvals are given the appointment  details are left to the CEO, the CFO, the Head of HR and the Director of Rugby assisted by  a legal advisor to negotiate with the new appointees assisted by their agents and the  appointments will only be announced once all the contracts of appointment have been signed

The issue here shows total ignorance by Mozart and you,   So be a good idiot and stay off this topic if you do not want to make even bigger fools of yourself than you managed to achieve thus far,  LMAO         .
