The question is would you select Pollard over Libbok for the game against Ireland next week?
The question is would you select Pollard over Libbok for the game against Ireland next week?
This is a self-respecting SA rugby forum so I guess it's pretty normal that after our much-needed, tense and gripping win against the plucky Scots it's full of opinionated windbags bitching about all the players they've historically hated, blubbering crybabies whining about the naughty referees and everyone grumbling about how dreadful the Springboks are.
"& we picked 4 number 9s"
There's some irony there. Like I said earlier, if we win this RWC it'll be despite Rassie, not because of him.
The initial selection of 4 scrumhalves, the decision to exclude Pollard from the original squad, the selection of Am to replace Mapimpi when we didn't use him even once, the 7-1 split for the final, the kick-and-hope game plan . . . all stupid shortsighted decisions made by an egotistical fool trying to prove he's some kind of genius.
Oh well . . . Go Bokke!
And shortly before the Aussies won the CWC, this classic:
With the world's biggest population and a national passion for the game, India have become too strong for everyone else.
I reckon if you split India into north, south, east and west and they played in a CWC they'd be the 4 semifinalists
No
Thus spake Zarathustra.

Okay, let's pretend that Rassie is not just a sore-loser crybaby and he is in fact a courageous genius who has pulled some kind of master stroke on World Rugby and proved beyond doubt that all the refs are stupid, biased, ignorant cheats.
What now? What do we do to fix the problem?
Any ideas . . . or is all the bleating and whining just for the sake of it without an alternative in mind?
