Lots of mistakes so far. The young players seem very fast, but both teams seem over eager at this stage and struggling to go through phases.

Half time. A poor game so far. Rusty to say the least.

Willemse looking like a deer in the headlights. Yellow carded and gives away a penalty try for holding the player back from scoring.

1/4 pole kicking piss poor. Can someone please move Willemse to another position - may be outside centre

Who cares.

The Lions are going to run amock in RSA this year against the Goats.

The goats? The defending World Champs, and current number 1 in the IRB rankings.

Curwin Bosch shows he is one of the best pole kickers in the world slotting a 60-metre attempt with easy. Just short on a longer one around 65 metres.

Kolisi scores... Good lineout drive.

The white pack is looking more dominant, but green are thinking more.

Some good individual play, but the combinations looked like they were introduced to each other 2 minutes before the match.

No doubt Frans was the deciding factor..if only Morne was playing for the  Golds to achieve a measure of Steyn balance.

Frans Steyn was solid. I think he only played in the first half.

Willemse again disappointed at flyhalf. He has good moments in the match, but he would be better out wide with more space.

A dull game brought about by a lack of direction, without Pollard the Boks are rudderless.

The only real highlight was Nohamba at 9, the kid is pure class - great great service and always busy

Elton Jantjies, Gelant, Kitshoff, Arno Botha and Vermeulen were good

Frans Steyns highlight was running over Hershel Jantjies for the rest he kept fucking up

Too many good players were not selected

It was a stupid idea that told us nothing

It was a second warm-up match for most players after the longest break in rugby in decades...perspective people..
