You can only have 5 loose forwards because teams normally have 3 hookers and 3 scrummies. 

It would have been great if we had a more versatile hookers and scrum halves that could cover more than one position. However, standby players can be added relatively easy if a player gets a serious injury. 

Gelant has now been demoted. If he was in SA I would select him but I would make Willemse my backup 15. We also have Arendse and Moody that can cover those positions as well as Kolbe. Although, both Kolbe and Arendse is a bit too small for me to have both in the back 3.

I like the idea of moving Dud back to lock. He could function there, but can he take his lineout ball? I’d love to have seen Etzebeth at 5. I think he is athletic enough to pull it off and that would open the door for another monster at 4. Still it’s a brave man who would switch positions for the world’s best number 4.

You have Kwagga twice and there is no rule on how many 9’s or hookers you need.

If a player gets injured he just gets replaced so the make up of your 33 is your own choice
