I can’t bear to watch that !
All I will say is that we yet again, had the best looking player on the pitch ( Henry Slade ), so that’s a win of sorts

It was an awful game to watch if you are and England fan. Ireland wasn't playing well at all, but England just didn't have any ideas.
I think Borthwick time is up. England has the players, but they just don't know how to build and English culture for the team.
Clive Woodward was the only coach that could pull a group of players together.
I also think they need to encourage clubs to retain national interest players as it creates unity and familiarities. Take Northampton, a lot of young talent coming through and those players should stay at Northampton. Saracens also formed the core of the squad a while back and England benefited.
I think the salary cap is an issue. I believe that they should remove the salary cap for grass root players and they more you get in the England squad.
Picking from 10 clubs will always be difficult to build a team
Clive Woodward is utterly useless - the guy was never a coach - he was a manger - he had a team of coaches under him who directed the side. Technically he offered nothing - it shows in his input as a studio guest or comments in the media
An irritating waste of space
England has the players
If they have the players (and they might, I'm not up to speed with English rugby), they're not selecting them. A fair bit of dead weight in the team that fielded Saturday. Who are the game breakers, the catalysts outside of Smith?
Ollie Lawrence was good at 13 but that was a direct physical impact
The persistence with Slade is laughable as it is with George at 2 who will no doubt walk straight back into the starting side next match.
There are some good players at bath that didn't make the match day squad. Zach Mercer who won the players of the year in France was surplus for England and they never bothered choosing him. There were a few other players that just fell out of favour.
But the English players don't tend to gel at all. They get into a lot of bar scuffles with each other and it is almost a post game ritual to punch each other up in bars after club games. Who was that Welsh player, I think Sean Edwards or something that was really good but could never find a club.
There are so many stories of players being dropped because there is a lot of niggle in training.
Dave, I don't know if you experienced the same thing in your club playing days but there as a lot of those players in the club teams I played in back in the day.
Shaun Edwards was quite happy at Wasps ! It’s the England coaching job he’s been overlooked for.
I don’t think there’s much niggle in training these days either……nor are there enough fights on the field !
I meant to say Gavin Henson. He had a lot of talent but always got into fights with other rugby player
I think he only got into a couple of fights with teammates !
