Referees are getting visibly frustrated when taking charge of Springbok tests.
What net, the whole team gets banned from international rugby?

SA Rugby needs to make a public announcement saying they do not support this.
It is a battle that cant be won, and could sway 50/50 calls against the Boks.

Mbonambi could be heard telling Carley to ‘ref both sides’, with many drawing a line directly to outspoken Springboks director of rugby Rassie Erasmus, who was this week banned for two matches after posting videos online about refereeing decisions.

“Bongi telling the ref to ‘ref both sides.’ Where would he have got that idea from?,” wrote one Twitter user. “Really not a good look from Boks.”

It reminds me of Fitzy Fitzpatric and other nz captains who specialised in getting refs to see things their way. In this case Bongi was asking the ref to ref both sides.

My father was a school principal and used to ref school matches. He loved his rugby but said the easiest way for a ref to cheat is to ref one side only.

Its great to see the Boks standing up to this cheating that has been going on for many decades. Meekly accepting all this clearly has not worked. When you say things like this the ref knows you are on to them. Neither do you want You Tube videos floating around showing all your one sided ghastly calls. Facts are facts and how do you explain one bad call after another. That is what terrifies the establishment. Its why demonrats are so scared of Musk's free speech on Twitter. Crooks dont like scrutiny - Period!

Rassie may just bring the whole rotten edifice down.

Bongi could be captaincy material. Definitely got a spine which the anti Rassie brigade lack!

Rassie is damaging the brand of the Springboks. Even if SA did actually get more unfavourable decisions, what is happening now is not going to solve this. It will just become a team that everyone wants to see lose.

I actually have no problem at all with the captain of a side questioning the ref if the ref possibly got something wrong, but any random player should not be challenging the ref......the captain of the side should be doing that.

Not only is Bongi disrespecting the ref, he is also disrespecting his own captain....

There are channels to follow when raising issues.....they should be followed

Bongi saw that the ref was crooking and suggested a remedy. Hey ref don't just call out one side call out both sides. Be fair ref.

Firstly Bongi should never be in a position to have to make a comment like that to the ref. Secondly, real men when cheated stand up for themselves. Beta males BACK DOWN AND MEEKLY ACCEPT THE INJUSICE AND SLINK AWAY.

And if anybody decides to get nasty about the Boks and Bongi we will just call them raaaaaacists and watch the worms squirm! We hold an ace up our sleeve. In this regard Kolisi should be more assertive. Bongi would probably make a better captain but is not our best hooker so doesn't stay on the field for much of a match.

All of this would carry more weight were the Boks victims of "bad reffing". The reality is that they are the least penalised team in world rugby. This spans quite a few seasons. On the balance of referee calls, our opponents have been heavily afflicted by slanted reffing to the point of them having to endure intense drawn out periods of pressure. Erasmus is not only making a fool of himself, but making enemies within the game whose presence and influence will outlast his tenure. Very selfish.

"Kolisi should be more assertive"

I have said this on many occasions, but I still do not agree with players getting involved, because where would it stop..... no, the captain needs to take control, you can't have every other player having a go at the ref....

If your captain has a history of not being assertive with his players or the ref, then replace the captain....you cannot have 15 captains on the field..

’ Where would he have got that idea from?

Tons of laughters. It would be worrisome if any rugby player could not shape the thought by oneself.

Now where it comes from he thinks he is allowed to voice such a concern is a different story.

No shame at all.

The whole team banned from international rugby when so many people are worried about SA rugby disappearance and as a result, have been cutting loose on SA rugby general behaviour.

Every member of the staff, every player has understood that the worst nightmare of people is to witness SA rugby collapse.

People have actively been working against that effect. SA rugby players and staff simply know they can take advantage of people's fears.

The headbutting thug and the SA rugby staff considered possible to claim that the thuggery did not warrant a red card. Such a claim would have been considered as an aggravating factor in many cases.

SA rugby are considered too big to fail. Whenever such a perception is made, people will press an advantage.

Now the cure might be that quota players start doing the same. Other players made the same remark without being pointing at finger. And they are white.

So basically, if more quota players adopting a behaviour serves to make the behaviour unbearable, more quota players on the pitch.

At least, it will help removing a problem.
