Dan Du Plessis is probably the stormers best centre at 12, but can also cover 12 if needed. The Stormers backline functions better defensively when both Dan and Nel operate together.
Dan is actually 27. Been around for ages, but struggled with injuries. Same as Jean Luc.
The last time I saw Jean Luc was way back when and he had an absolute blinder in Super Rugby. But looks like he is finding his way back.
You have left out Hartzenberg, been shifting between wing and 13, but only 19. Greate future ahead. Although have been found wanting in wet conditions and being exposed to the cross kicks coming up too early.
Have to agree on Henco, technically brilliant player, positional play as well as his covering is insane. Not seen him slip any tackles, but think he can crack the bok side.

Between the URC and Champions Cup over the past few months, the following new players have impressed me
David Kriel - the Bulls fullback and sometimes wing who has also played a game or two at centre. Clearly versatile and has thar gift of breaking tackles. His best position is fullback in my opinion
Stravino Jacobs - the big powerful Bulls wing. He has shown pace, strength and a step. Bulls are not nearly playing him enough
Francois Klopper - the young Bulls tighthead looks a good prospect
Ruan Vermaak - the big physical Bulls lock who has taken over from the departed Walt Steenkamp. His physicality in his last two games has been very impressive, culminating in running into the Exeter captain and knocking him out - stole cold
Emmanuel Tsituka the younger brother of Vincent. The Lions 8 is all over the park and has plenty of skill and power. He just never stops
Henco v Wyk - can’t make my mind up about him. He started the season well making an impression hence my inclusion on this list but for the past few weeks has made little impression. I’m not convinced he is big enough to go to the next level. Very muscled up but a short guy. Punches above his weight, whatever that is
Emile v Heerden - has had a good few starts for the Lions now, with 7 on his back but often scrums down at lock. Looks a handy player, good skill and high work rate
Ntlabakayne - the massive Lions tighthead. For a fat guy he gets around and makes an impression. How good would he be if he lost all the blubber
Marnus Potgieter - the Sharks wing who’s primary position is 13. He has been very good in the last few weeks, showing plenty of power and speed. Play him more at 13 when Am needs a rest
Boeta Chamberlain - the Shatks 10 who has moved to 15 has been very elusive with ball in hand. His best spot is 10, play him ahead of Bosch
Buthelezi - I like this guy, has good strength, breaks tackles - plays 8 but should play 6 where he was employed in the Bok A side
Dan du Plessis at 28 he is hardly new but has been in amazing form for the Stormers this season. Has made so many good clean breaks
Dayamani - the Stormers 8 has been on fire this season, hard to ignore him for higher honours but we just have too many great loosie prospects out there
