Well Zulu is pretty special so it’s not a bad thing
Libbok and Zulu moving forward is the way forward
Hendrikse looks a good utility option and Masuku will push

Let's see...
Arendse - highest try scoring ratio in Bok history.
Willemse - generational talent. To me, a legit superstar who can do everything.
Moodie - at 22 is as calm and smooth as we've ever seen a kid be when stepping up to test level. Hands of gold and already has a highlight reel note of that seems endless. Crazy really.
Sacha - Special is exactly the right word to describe him.
...and it's not like the guys we have for other positions are slouches or not test quality.
I mean, what coach in the world wouldn't be chomping at the bit to unleash those chaps? Absolute fire...geez!
Boys, provided we don't hang on to players purely on reputation, and we actually build a backline around these clearly gifted players...I don't recall being this excited for where the Boks could go.
I'll bet Brown is on the phone to Kiwi land going "Hier kom groot kak!"
I mean, right!!??
I’d add Green, Fassi, Williams and David Kriel to that list
We need to wake up and cap Green before England do
The test against Portugal would be the perfect opportunity
Green won't be called up while Cheslin is still there and nobody in their right mind would select him ahead of Arendse.
Its about that time Rassie gets his finger out of his hoo hoo, and really play these guys!
That’s not the point - cap Green with a view to the future. Kolbe turns 31 soon he will be past it by the next WC
Green would be his perfect replacement
Agree, we have a lot of talent, but Australia had the same problem not too long ago with Matt Guitaue, Cooper, O'Connor etc, but they could never get them to play together. We have the same problem, nothing wrong having utility value, but even the All Blacks are suffering with the two Barrets, not knowing where to play them but try to keep them on the field.
I would rather have the best player in each position like we had with Fourie Du Preeze, Jean De Villiers, Habana, Pietersen and Jacque Fourie. With Monty offering the solid boot at the back. The only player we always struggled with was 10. Steyn was too robotic, Butch always got injured and probably would have served a life long ban by now with his tackle technique. Ryan Pienaar had the skill, but didn't want to play 10.
However, I like these guys attitude and that they just want to be on the pitch.
So I do want them to specialise though. There are enough games.
I also think Rassie has a roadmap for each player which is great and favour players that knows his system rather than those that don't. He would rather use a player within his group then bring in a fresh player like Masuka that had no exposure.
But there is a downside to this too.
However, we are world champions and I like the squad right now.
One more win over the Oirish, and I think Rassie will be let loose a bit more
We may see Libbok and Zulu combine in the 10/12 axis against Minnows like Portugal/Spain. Or one of them will start with the other on the bench - and Esteruizen at 12.
S B
Always an idiot - you write about Esterhuizn a verify average fringe player that will be 33 years old by 2027 and without chances to maintain even hsi rpesenmt level of performances.
That was Meyer's attitude and also that of Coetzee who did their best to destroy SA Rugby like they did to the clubs where they ended up coaching in 2016 -17. and where they were fired as a result.
Green is a real good player that is consistently performing for his Club….but he must be really frustrated as he has made it known that he is interested in playing for the Boks….but a point will come where he will just decide to join another team to play test Rugby….there is really a plethora of good SA players that has the potential to make a test side.. .. it would be good somehow to give each of these players a chance to be part of the Bok setup as short term invitational player, let them play a game or two and just keep on rotating all the good ones overseas and locally….even if Rassie might have a good idea of who he wants, still give the ones that might not be top of his list, a chance to play in some kind of less important Bok game…I think you can rotate a lot of these players in the next 3 years….who knows, you might just discover a next Rugby star.
That was a critical error he made to concede a lineout that led to the match winning drop goal.
He should have jumped and shielded the ball instead of catching it.
He could have jumped and put his arms up as if attempting to play the ball, but just make sure he did not touch it - instead just sheperading it into touch.
However, he did have a very good game at fullback on attack. Sometimes he was possibally missing as the last line of defence- but it is his first game for the Boks at XV.
Yes that was an error but boy he had a good game
That run where he rolled tackles with his shoulders a
nd footwork like a boxer was good before offloading into the breadbasket catch by Grant Smith
Yeah when I first saw him playing for a crap Baby Bok side last year he stood out big time - he literally glides
He was the highlight of the match against Portugal
. He brought more structure to the attack and they seemed to gel as a unit.
He is an unbelievable player - time to start him at 10 in the RC with Pollard on the bench a security
This guy is Super and his composure is unbelievable at the Top level….but I think he needs a couple more of the bench, with Pollard starting.
Forget about Libbok. Groom Mngomezulu. The lad has the best name in rugby and the second best Twelvetrees
has retired,
How about the genes ..................... Zulu mama,,British Yiddish papa.
Well Xander Schauffele just won the British Open with a German father and a Japanese mother who was an aerospace engineer….exotic genes are in this year.
Mozart
When you did not even knew a player by he name Feinberg Ngomezulu exists I was puntng hm as the best future Springbok flyhalf of the future. I made a statement on that one more than a year ago.and repeated it a number of time this year.
I am therefore supprised by your support of him - normally you try and sabotage on site new players in any code of sport.
.
SB
Feinberg-Ngomezulu is an SA citizn - he was born in SA and his father came from Wales and his mother is a Zulu. The problem is that Wales would try and get him to play for them and Erasmus and Brown saw it comng and decided to play F-N in the Springbok team and then found out he was real gold.
How did I know about him? Go back to the Under 20WC and you may find out, He is a star player at flyhalf - but smehow some of our site experts want him to play at 12 - which is manyfactured BS to say the least,
FFS It's a no brainer the kid is a flyhalf dropkick the utility nonsense, potentially he could be if not the greatest flyhalf ever, then possibly
the greatest Bok flyhalf.
Denny - I agree with you,
Wehe . . . looks like our resident Grumpy Old Men have found something new to bicker about to add to the endless and monotonous squabbling over the likes of DDA, PSdT, Mostert, Roos, Rassie, Djok, Trump and just about anyone else you care to mention . . . now it's which one "discovered" Sacha FM first!
LMAO!
Must say, it's very unusual for these two old relics to be on the same page when it comes to a player . . . just wait for Sacha to have a bad game or miss a crucial kick and one of the two geriatric old clowns will be remonstrating the other one saying something like "to think you rate this useless player."
Watch this space!
Rooidoos
I do not write shit on site like you do - always BS from propaganda sicknss - since you have zero thinking ability so you repeat BS.somebody got through to your malfunctionng brain of yours to write shit on
site,So I rite facs on site that is varified and proven. As to Djokovic I wrote that he is near the end of his compettiveness and this happened this year, It was not the BS Mozart spouted about Alcarax when I said he si a special player and Mozart tried to prove otherwise,

Denny
My problem is that believe that Pollard has had fairly serious injury problems. For instance -
* in 2016 and 2017 he played no rugby at all
* from Octobe 2022 he was out of rugby until July 2023
If Erasmus and Brown wants to preserve Pollard to play for as long as possible they will have to reduce his exposure to poten
tial injuries and start with him against teams like the All Blacks and play him off the bench against for instance Argentina and Australia,So we ar i afrement again - twoce on ne day must be a record \

Given he was picked on the bench instead of Libbok for the test match series of the year, this suggests that Tony Brown prefers him- but it could just be down to utlity value.
Rassie often goes for a 6/2 split, and Zulu has more utlity value covering flyhalf and centre- like Damien Willemse. He could probably cover alll backline positions - except scrumhalf. Rassie always has a specialist scrumhalf out of the 2 bench backs.
