60 seconds and two box kicks
More box kicks
Stormers clearly have the best pack but get involved in a box kick war to open the game.
Cardiff end up winning it now the Stormers are defending their line and Cardiff have a penalty advantage.
Why do I get the feeling this is gonna be 80 minutes of painful horrible rugby?
Howzit!
Hope we're not in for Dobbo-ball.
Cardiff chickening out of the scrum
Hey Draad. My feed's a chuggin'.
Hiya Draad
Nice penalty by Sacha!
Bliksim
...my Internet is a bit slow..
Cardiff scrum have nothing as they fold in their own line and their own put-in
Chance goes begging for the Stormers as Sacha's cross fielder goes out
lol, I found a stream that sounds like it's being commentated in ancient Welsh.
Ref a bit pedantic...
15 minutes gone. 15 minutes of shyte rugby.
Paul Div with the turnover after a great break by Lloyd.
P Divvy with an excellent turnover
Intercept try Cardiff after some pedestrian Stormers play. 7-0
Stupid
The Stormers play some rugby but get intercepted and Cardiff take the lead.
...and that's as much of this game as I'm gonna watch.
Stormers looking unclear about the job
I'll be back for the Lions game
You're not taking one for the team, Plummie.
Stormers maul it over.
I think the Stormers are too good to botch this...they just need to settle down.
BJD through a gap and just needed any kind of offload outside to find men with an open tryline, but can't/doesn't get it away.
Mchunu over. Very easy peel from the lineout.
Lekker lekker!
Yellow for Cardiff prop.
Man I just can't get excited about the Stormers. Such a hard team to watch.
Nel over but held up. Sacha opens so much next to him when he carries, everyone's watching him. Nice defense Cardiff eventually.
Willemse with the offload, Zas runs over one and scores. Looks like they found some synergy with their training ground collision.
Where was that Zas the whole season!
Nice conversion from the touchline, 21-7
Where was that Zas the whole season!
Vra dit.
Players like Willemse makes a crucial execution look so effortless.
Nice kick Khan, Stormers have one more chance before the whistle if they can disrupt this lineout.
Thomas with a saving steal for Cardiff to end the half. Not sure if I'll watch the second.
Lyk na 'n mooi dag in my Kaapstad...
of course you will...

Sloppy Stormers
Cant understand why the 10 doesn’t do these clearance kick…..horrible clearance by Cardiff 9.
WTF did Roos just do? He insane?
There it is the Manie Libbok lucky packet, this time the timing wasn’t perfect. A very dumb move there…..not a tactic to be used near your 22, if ever.
The Bulls were playing much better rugby than the Stormers….less aimless kicking, more pace in their moves
The game is slipping....
Moerat WTF?
Better.
Not a great game, the Stormers should win easily. Not sure what happened to Sasha.
Sacha injured his leg when he scored his try...hope it's only precaution.
MY TV is on the blink - did the Stormmers win?
We're still struggling to Mike....34-21 now.
Weird number of obstruction overrules in today’s games
Willemse shows why he is a fullback…saved tries at least twice today
Stormers is like a pretty girl with no personality. Every one of our sides have their own charm: the Sharks their perplexing incompetence, the Lions their underdog flair (which I hope we see today for a change) and the Bulls their dogged efficiency with flashes of beauty, but the Stormers is just a frustrating case of promise and potential looking for an identity while drowning in confusion.
There it is…Stormers to the semis
Pakie the Stormers lost their personality went Gelant disappeared.
Pakie the Stormers lost their personality went Gelant disappeared.
That's not a bad take actually.
Bulle clearly our no.1 team ... WP 2 ... guppies3 ... Lions4
Only caught the last few minutes. How bad is Sacha's injury?
Lions are way better than the Sharks and probably the Stormers Blobbie, they just stopped doing what worked for them all season. Guess conditions in the overseas make it more difficult to execute but they've been playing some dumbass rugby. Let's say under local conditions, them and the Bulls will be fighting it out for top spot.
The stormers pack works well. Mchunu is in seriously good form and definitely a front-runner for the Springbok Loose head spot.
He is excellent in the loose, and his Scrum power has improved tremendously. DW is really at home at fullback and a solid option for the Boks.
The Stormers lock pairing of Ruben van Heerden and Adre' Smith is also in excellent form. Overall, it was a good performance, but our defense needs some work. Congrats, Stormers.
"Lions are way better than the Sharks and probably the Stormers Blobbie, ..."
Not eve close...they stopped doing what they were doing because it's too difficult to reprise on that level....you do know the Stormers crossed the tryline 4 or 5 times more...2 disallowed tries and 2 held ups?....then a few rediculous calls by the ref...we were lethargic and poor in this match, but the potential is there...even when we play poor....the Lions need to fire on all cylinders to beat anyone of the big boys...they need a wee bit more depth... hopefully they can build on this season...they were a pleasant surprise this season...
Late seasons Lions, fair enough Draad, but they handily beat the Stormers earlier this year and the Sharks twice. For a team with so little depth it's not easy losing a talismanic player like Ruan Venter - think Stormers without Sacha, Sharks without Andre. He was the bite of the team.
I don't think they stopped playing their game because it was too difficult to reprise. More thoughts later when I have time.
Agreed. The Lions just don't have the budget for a good second string..
With their best side playing, they hammered Glasgow. And they won the SA shield.
But loosing Mills, Oosthuizen, Venter, Crappies, Mills and Asenathi...it hurt them a lot.
I did see an article this week that said they are looking at leaving Ellis Park and going to move to Wanderers. I refuse to go to Ellis Park and so do most fans. But if they were at Wanderers I'd probably go to most games.
Pakster complaining about the Stormers repeatedly smacks of bias. Very one eyed!
