Watch this clip on X. Wow, it is the reverse highlight real

Stormers Culprits

Watch this link, a Stormers fan calling them the goof troop. 99% of the mistakes was made by, guess who, the hot steppers thinking they can run from everywhere. They have no sense of linking with other players and adding shape to the attack. It is everyman for himself to try and side step out of a phone box. It has become a joke how easily it is to let them just fuck everything up. Dobbo needs to drop these player. Jantjies, Zas, Hartzenberg, Libbok and Gelant. The latter being the most guilty of coughing up the ball.

As I said before, we need a proper 9, we need to give Sasha a run at 10 and have Matthee that can direct the ship. We need Willemse at 15, not 12. Leave Dan Du Plesis at 12. Wonder what happened to Simalane? Why is Hardenberg not playing at 13. We need Dricus Pretorius to come back from Jap land.

Gelant se gat. It all looks great on the highlight real but just look how easy Toulon dealt with them .

As I said before, you don't need to try tackle them, just surround them and put pressure on them. They are so reactive that any slight movement will trigger the. So let them dance or throw the ball away. They all panic when they think they are stuck. You don't have to worry about inside runners as passing is the last resort. Look at that one pass from Libbok in the goal area. Oh, I'll just throw a back hand pass. Just a simple pass or kick the bloody ball to touch.

No Cape C rugby isn't winning rugby. Great strike weapon in short burst but lack of discipline

In one or two instances the little stab was probably the only option, but at 0:30 for example the Stormers have a 3 on 2. Instead of running hard at the line to engage defenders and keeping the forward speed going, #15 slows everything down by first drifting sideways and then putting the speculative kick through. Unfortunately we see this with the Boks as well, where backs seem more inclined to boot it even with numerical superiority outside than to try and engage and challenge the defenses. The fancy kick is starting to replace the good old draw and pass.

Yeah, I don't know why they can't take it into contact, wait, they are smaller players and often lose the ball in contact. I didn't see once a switch or cut back to try and bring the ball back in field. You probe the edges, if you can try get over the advantage line, quick recycle back to the middle of the park, set some phases and get your attack set. You can always try and pass, if it goes in touch so what. You have a 30% chance of getting the ball from Line out. You can defend against exit play if you are in their half and try again. Normally what happens is either the kick goes up, so you can put your players back, counter or you can just put a tactical kick into the corners to pin them back.

These guys are fucking clowns, Jantjies, Gelant, Libbok and even Zas are pissing me off right now

I honestly think some of these hot steppers are shit scared of contact .

The Draw and Pass sets you up more to get tackled, as you let the ball go right at the end.

So that is why they like kicking so much…..

Personnel change is in order
