Surprising….good point Dave, in theory they should be awesome.

Japan's the answer for RGS .................... lower intensity & apparently they are very keen on the training/gym side & spend a lot of time thereabouts .
Now there is a problem - Snyman seems to be njury prone and missing from tests as a result. The only reason Mostert start as a lock is because of injury to other better players and he was and is a fringe player, Of his 72 mathes played he started in 30 of those indicating he is a bench player at best.
I also think Snyman is a top class lock - but when last did he in fact play?
As for t
he constant site biggering - it s clear the whole argument is n fact BS. The man is 33 years old and not a key playe for the team at all, Time to get past him and use real locks in matches,
Biggering a sexual term ? We talking locks & you're .....................
Of his 72 mathes playe he started in 30 of those indicating he is a bench player at best.
48 test starts. Can you make any point without lying, Mike?
RG has started 10 out of 37 tests. Is he also only a bench player at best?
Keep these silly leaps of logic coming, it's hilarious.
Shame on you oom.......... jou biggerest.
Mike got his stats wrong but is right about the injuries and the age regarding Snyman.
He could have been a great Bok with 100 tests etc. What a pity.
Ditto Lood possibly the best lineouts forward in World Rugby. Top much time lost through injury.
Pakie
I amy have the strts wrong - but not the fac that Mostert started only when players were no available due to injury. That was the case since Erasmus took over the coaching job. Mostert buggered up royally against Argentina in the RCand the All Blacks in the 2019 RWC and was dropped from the starting line-ups in the rest of the RWC matches in 2019. De Jager being missing and Erasmus preferring Du Toit as a losie gave Mostert the opportuniy to play as lock in startng games,
However - your moaning about critcism of Mostert and attcks o Du Toit is standard BS, His ag is accoding to you not an issue - but applies to everybody else.
.
Another masterful post by Uncle BS :)

I haven't said a word about Mostert's age as I'm not discussing anything to do with his age.

Yes, and?
I've simply been highlighting Mostert's contribution on the field in the face of the "he's useless, he makes no physical contribution" nonsense. Nothing more, nothing less. Haven't contended that he's better than Etzebeth, or better than RG, or a long term future prospect, or any of that shit. Try to keep up.
I was never really impressed by Mostert's performances and I merely said that bearing in mind - he is one of the first players to be phased out of the team. I remembered how he miseed a tackle ending up in an Argentine matxch and ow you managed to blame Du Toit for the miss - while it was clearlt a plain openfield tackle that he missed, He missed a simila tackle n the A B mtach - so stop pretending that you only defend Mostert 100% of the time agsinst what you regagrd as unfair and unfounded criticism.

He missed a tackle ending up in an Argentine match? What, did he play against one side, then missed a tackle so badly that he ended up in another match?
He missed a simila tackle n the A B mtach
Wow. He did? Unbelievable. What a travesty. A rugby player missed a tackle. Send him home to play netball for god's sake. Oh but wait, the Boks missed 26 tackles last week and 37 in the last All Black test and Mostert wasn't even there. So, uhm, what point were you trying to make again?
One tackle miss is not bad = missing a second one in the 2019 WC after he missed a crucial crucial tackle in the match match against the AB's. Those were two tackles from which tries were scored - he makes weak tackles in traffic and routinely missed tackles in open field play. His ball protection and recovery t breakdowns is about near to zero in reality,
.
If ever there was a perfect lock combination it was Eben and RG and it’s never happened
What a waste and shame for Bok rugby and us fans
I posted on here ages ago that RG might be the greatest player to just never make it.
And it's held true. He may just be too injury prone and some of his earlier injuries have only increased his fragility further.
Super disappointed really as he could have been a great.
Agreed Plum
Shut up! You ignorant prick.
