You will kick because the Eye of Sauron commands it.
You will kick because the Eye of Sauron commands it.
Where's a hobbit
when you need one . . .
All that light stuff is total nonsense. He takes micro managing to the limit.
Good one Plum…..Sauron haha!
The performance against the All Blacks would beat any team, but the one against Scotland was closer than the scoreboard suggested.
While I was over the moon when the Boks beat the All Blacks,
I fear that Ireland and France could have beaten this weekend's Bok performance.
The Boks looked very shakey in the second quarter, and Scotland butchered a certain try with a 3 man overlap.
A key concern was not being able to put points on Scotland in the first quarter with territorial and possession
In every game that Delande has started this year, the Bok attack has faltered.
Whereas with Esterhuizen, every game he has played - the Boks attack has fired.
Saurassmus even
Hahaha
And if we win the WC you clowns will be yet again be embarrassed by the master who is Rassie
What’s wrong with communicating with your team given you have a better peripheral view of the game
It’s just Rassie being one step ahead as always
It’s not against the fucking rules
Good on you Rassie do whatever it takes to win this thing which I think we will as we have a great team and a brilliant, imaginative and astute coach
Saurassmus….perfect.
It's a joke, Saffex, calm down.
We want the Boks to win as much as you do.
Though, The Eye Of Sauron did command Libbok to take a kick from 60m out when he had already missed an easy one.
So there's that.
That’s good the coach has faith in Libbok
He has clearly seen him knock 60m kicks over before
Good post Rudenek...much more positives in that match than negatives...glad that you see it too.
South African humor….what I miss most……completely irreverent.
I was quite amazed at ou Rooitwit posting something sensible for a change. Al's it could not last and didn't as the oak started to wax nonsensical about Rassie our very astute and trail blazing coach.
That’s good the coach has faith in Libbok
Says something about Rassie.
Jake would have shown the same faith....any good coach would.
A case in point being the wholehearted trust Dassie has in the heroic Mostert.
It does not matter what Jake would do.
We must consult Gandalf at once.
Unfortunately, the ANC have banished the White Wizard from our shores.
Send a hawk, I emplore
you!
Must be the reason we weren't allowed to play in a white strip instead of an awful neon green clown outfit.
Fcn Checkers sixty 60 sponsor!
Oh don’t get me started on that kit again. It’s totally vile!
I for one just hope and pray that the coaches faith in Libbok pays off sooner than later as his post kicking is dismal to say the least.
Moster on the other hand was a star in the Lions squad prior to being selected as a Springbok and in my view has delived in each game when he has represented his country.
Perhaps Willie will be given the opportunity against the next team in the WC and allow the kicking coach to spend some valuable time coaching Libbok before the highly rated team games
come around.Trust Pollard is making progress as without him in the #10 jersey we will be in serious trouble against the stronger teams such as England, Ireland and France.
Didn't think the Boks played their best game against Scotland, not saying they didn't play well, to me it seemed not as good a game as when they played the ABs. They seemed to lack cohesion and although we saw fits and starts of it in general it was missing. The main thing is that they won, a winning team is a confident team and it has huge benefits like settling the nerves.
Their main point scoring seems to be coming from the scrum(penalties), rolling mauls and individual brilliance where backline speed and skill has replaced monolithic Bok backline play.
Here's hoping that the
good game comes against Ireland.
I thought we were on point with our defence.
It's not easy keeping the current Scottish side completely out of the game and we're the only team to have done that recently, in a game that the Scott's were very hyped for and targeting.
And we weren't playing at our best.
We did the same to the ABs and Wales.
All I would say is that we thrashed the ABs because we weren't afraid to choose going for the corner when we had kickable penalties. It paid massive dividends.
Not sure why we went the other way against Scotland, particularly with Manie struggling off the tee.
The defence looked very much like the defence in 2019….Kriel was on their outside center before he got the ball. There was literally no space in the center. This of course is a variant of Jake’s rush defence which won the WC in 2007
But as with all good defenses, strengthening one component weakens others. So there are two vulnerabilities…..the first right behind our centres, so if a clever grubber is put through and not too hard, there is an excellent chance of regathering. And if an opposing player can breach the inside defence, that break is more dangerous.
Often in fluid play the defence also gives up the wide space because they are undermanned…skip passes done early can also expose space.
But it’s not easy….Ireland’s wrap around offense has been good at creating mismatches. It’s an interesting contest the wrap around vs the rush.
So far as seen by the Scotland game, not much has changed around Game plan and the way we play since 2019…Libbok is new but his distribution skills is nullified by DDA that acts mostly in this “ Game plan”as a loose forward….will the Stampkar slow poison/ Rush defence bring us another WC? Or does IRE, France and AB have something up there sleeve to counteract that? Will be interesting.

This is a self-respecting SA rugby forum so I guess it's pretty normal that after our much-needed, tense and gripping win against the plucky Scots it's full of opinionated windbags bitching about all the players they've historically hated, blubbering crybabies whining about the naughty referees and everyone grumbling about how dreadful the Springboks are.
