but he gets excited when nothing special has happened.
He will make a touch finder sound like a World Cup winning drop kick.
when a scrummie kicks an up and under, he makes the contest for the ball sound like the final lap of the F1 season.

I just can not listen to his commentary.
he commentates like it’s a soccer match.
he gets so hyped up at the stupidest moments and his insights are so shallow.
not wrong… just shallow.
I preferred him as a pundit before and after games. But as a commentator, Christ he is painful to listen to.
