The rugby landscape is set to sizzle in 2026 as Rugby Australia rolls out the red carpet for a series of high-octane clashes on home turf, featuring the Wallabies in a showdown that includes a highly anticipated match against the Springboks at Perth's Optus Stadium on September 27. The fixture list also throws the spotlight on the inaugural Nations Championship, setting the stage for a thrilling rugby calendar.

The Wallabies kick off their campaign on July 4 at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium against Ireland, followed by confrontations with France in Brisbane and Italy in Perth. The Nations Championship will see them travel to Japan and host a return game, marking Japan's first tour to Australia since 1975. The series continues with two matches against Argentina before the Wallabies battle it out with the Springboks for the Mandela Plate.

Following the clash with South Africa, the Wallabies will face New Zealand twice in October. The Nations Championship will resume in November with matches against England, Scotland, and Wales, leading up to the finals weekend starting November 27.

"We’re thrilled to have our 2026 tickets on sale for what’s going to be another massive year for the Wallabies, with next year’s home Rugby World Cup getting closer on the horizon,"

said Rugby Australia CEO Phil Waugh. He expressed excitement over hosting high-quality Test opponents in the Nations Championship and looked forward to building on the momentum from last year's successful campaign.

Western Australian Tourism Minister, the Hon Reece Whitby MLA, highlighted the significance of hosting such prestigious matches in Perth, noting the positive impact on local tourism and the economy.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for local and out-of-state fans to experience top-tier rugby action right here in Western Australia—the fastest-growing events destination in the South East Asia region,"

Whitby remarked. He emphasized the expected influx of visitors and the global exposure these matches bring to Perth.

The 2026 Wallabies’ home fixtures conclude with a robust lineup, promising exhilarating rugby action and a feast for rugby aficionados around the globe, all culminating in what promises to be an unforgettable Nations Championship Finals Weekend.
