Spot on KC….
I've not a huge fan of Kolisi's game, but it's hard to ignore his contribution in terms of the big picture. He's been a good servant of rugby for SA and for our first black skipper to win two WCs, you better believe that he has inspired a whole generation of kids.
And let's think about that for a moment. Football is associated with money, fame, attitude and many other rather shitty and hollow things that aren't good for kids to admire. Rugby is a game that makes you a man. It's not a game for talkers, it's one for doers and it teaches respect.
I'm glad Siya has achieved what he has and I'd be lying if I said I didn't very much appreciate it.
...and cumon, seeing him at the front the line in the tunnel before the game, singing with his team lined up behind him - if that doesn't do something to your heart then you're not human.
Ardie was the Player of the Year in 2023, so that says it all,
Token
about to hit 100 caps as a part timer, now over taken Ollie Le Roux with the most caps and least minutes on the rugby field
What Plum said...and then some...I don't get the critics...it's not as if he has been keeping a more deserved player from getting into the team. IMO he deserves his spot in the team on merit, the captaincy and politics that go with it is a bonus.
I suspect KC's wife once said Siya was good-looking.

KC is a village idiot supreme. Since Erasmus introducced the 6 man forward bench system it is only three forwards not effectively changed duing matches. One of those was a lock and the other two positions effectviely benched were the number 7 and 8 players, Since Du Toit could be moved to lock - he will play 80 minutes and could be effectively replaced at 7 by a bench player,
Nobody in the team is a token players irrespectvie of race or any other isssue, Kolisi is a top class player that any international team would select as a loosie.
Thanks Oom Mike, I just pointing your flawed group thinking and the hype the media makes about the guy.
None the less, Rassie winning record is 73% highest and slightly above Mallet
KC, we all have our biases...especially Oom Maaik, he's just very protective about this team and goes on attack mode whenever he thinks the team is threatened...albeit by contrary ideas. ;-)

It was interesting evening and I still can’t understand how Kolisi is able to play for the boks when he offers very little and only a token captain that occasionally has some ability which is mainly on attack but nothing else. Rassie has shielded him since he became the coach and for obvious reasons.
For South Africa it looked like he had a good game, managed to get a try and some meters on the touch line but no real impact. It was Japan and the lost to SA by 60 points. Not only did his try actually come from a maul, but he also has the ,ost well drilled pack to help him for that. True to form he only played 4 minutes of the 2nd half and had no further input. Where as between kwagga and Esterhuizen, they had a far greater impact. Kwagga wining balls on the ground and Esterhuizen getting over the advantage line.
Now, let’s hop over the pond to Chicago where the AB vs Ireland game. A stop start game ruined by to refs for its stop start. It was still a very hard match and Ireland getting ahead and leading for 60:minutes. It was in the few minutes of the first half that Ardie were able to go over the line. Unlike Kolisi, Ardie was making tackles, winning balls on the ground at crucial matters. The game was still very tight for most part, but when the all blacks finally got some space in the 2nd half, that they were able to pull away from Ireland. Ardie was at the heart of everything. He played right until the end and just got better as the game went on.
Yes, rugby is physical, but if you’re going to play open side, you need to be the fittest and smartest player on the field.
now we have Kolisi on 99 and most of the, being useless and the fake cheers keeps growing around as the most useless captain in history to have gotten away with it thanks to being black and living in a country like South Africa.
so here have captain half time vs captain all the time
you can call me unfair but I look at that position and just think Kolisi doesn’t come close to any of the best opensiders in the game today or ever has
