Conrad Smith is currently the Head of Rugby Operations at International Rugby Players (IRP), focusing on player performance, welfare, and workload management. Conrad Smith was a very intelligent centre - I think he had a law degree
Anyway just seen a clip on FB by an old team mate who was good mates with Smith (Godfather to one of his kids)
He asked Smith what his rugby philosophy was as he said Conrad was a weak guy, could hardly bench press 60kg and was slow.
Conrad said he just worked really hard, listened and asked good questions which ensured he never got dropped from a side
