A great win for the Boks indeed but Moonrover, take note that one swallow doesn’t make a summer! You are pretty cocky for a supporter of a team that regularly gets beaten by this “mediocre” ABs team. You say we last had good players 10 years ago and that they are not feared? In that 10 year period there have been 20 tests between the ABs and Boks with the ABs winning 14 to the Boks 5 with one draw. If the ABs were so bad in that time, where does that leave the Boks pray tell???

About square in my opinion. Yes, lost a series to Ireland and at home to Argentina for the first time but those records had lasted for generations and all records get broken eventually! Scotland have still never beaten us but they will one day, nothing surer! If the Boks had whipped us 3-4 tests running I’d be worried but the fact is they haven’t so I don’t think a lot’s changed. We continue to beat the Boks 65-70% of the time and I’m more than happy with them stats, believe me! The Boks may very well win this RWC but as I have said in the past, winning the RWC doesn’t make you the best team in the world.

With the get the Jarpy philosophy operating and bent refs robbing us of test after test your stats Moooo are pretty worthless. Like the demonrats, cheating became ingrained.
We win RWCs because the influence of nz and Oz refs is reduced. But Bryce Lawrence sunk us one RWC match against Oz penalizing us every few minutes in possibly the most disgraceful ref display ever seen.

I have no problem with AB being a better league or round robin team. They have the trophies to show.
Even with better teams they battled in knock-out World Cups though. Maybe this team will lift itself. Barrett is good with his tactical kicking, need a Carter to really rip it though.

Like I said Plum, records are made to be broken. I gauge where we’re at with our performances vs the Boks. Last 4 games it’s 2 each so nothing much has changed in my opinion. You asked for my opinion but don’t seem to want to accept it!
