In a bold bid to turn the tables after their initial stumble in the Rugby Championship, Argentina's head coach Felipe Contepomi has reshuffled his lineup for the upcoming clash with New Zealand in Buenos Aires. The Pumas, seeking redemption from a 41-24 thrashing in Cordoba, have introduced fresh legs with Juan Martin Gonzalez and Mateo Carreras stepping into the starting XV for this critical rematch.

Contepomi's tactical adjustments include promoting flanker Juan Martin Gonzalez to start after a stint on the bench, replacing Marco Kremer in a straightforward swap. This alteration complements the inclusion of Mateo Carreras on the wing, stepping in for the absent Rodrigo Isgró, who notably scored last week but will miss this game entirely. Bautista Delguy will adapt to this change by switching wings.

"We need to capitalize on our home advantage and the incredible energy of our fans to overcome the All Blacks,"

Contepomi stated, underlining the significance of the match.

The core of the team remains stable with Gonzalo García and the remarkable Tomás Albornoz continuing their roles as the half-back duo. The midfield will once again feature Santiago Chocobares and Lucio Cinti, while Juan Cruz Mallía retains his position as full-back, tasked with igniting Los Pumas' attack.

The front row remains unchanged with Mayco Vivas and Pedro Delgado flanking captain and hooker Julián Montoya. Locks Franco Molina and Pedro Rubiolo, alongside the unchanged back-row trio of Gonzalez, the formidable Pablo Matera, and Joaquín Oviedo, complete the pack. Coming off the bench, Marco Kremer will join forces with a robust set of replacements including Ignacio Ruiz and Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro.

The stakes are high as Argentina looks to salvage their Rugby Championship aspirations against the formidable All Blacks. The match is set for Saturday at Estado Velez Sarsfield, with Nic Berry officiating as referee. The atmosphere in Buenos Aires promises to be electric as Los Pumas aim to assert their prowess on home soil.
