In a significant boost, Bath Rugby has clinched the re-signing of Will Stuart until 2028. The prop, who joined Bath in 2019 and debuted against Worcester Warriors, has since adorned the British and Irish Lions jersey and racked up 53 caps for England. Fresh off a Lions tour that saw a triumphant 2-1 series win over the Wallabies, Stuart is set to further his impressive tally beyond the 105 appearances he has already made for the club.

"I can't really put into words the contrast from the 2021/22 season... Pride doesn’t really do it justice. So, in light of that, who wouldn’t want to give it another crack?"

Johann van Graan, Head of Rugby at Bath, expressed his enthusiasm about Stuart's continuation with the team. "It’s been amazing to have been on this journey for the last three and a half years with Stuey. He came into his own in 2025, shining for England and being a Lion. But most importantly, being a rock for us at Bath. We are looking forward to Stuey being one of the cornerstones of not only our pack but our whole team," he said.

Meanwhile, speculation surrounds Mike Prendergast potentially reuniting with Van Graan at Bath as he departs Munster at season's end. Prendergast reminisced about his tenure at Munster, "My family and I have absolutely loved our time back home since we returned to Munster in 2022. To coach the team I represented as a player has been an incredible honour and this has been a very difficult decision." Munster Rugby General Manager Ian Costello expressed his gratitude, noting Prendergast's significant impact on the team and wishing him success in his future endeavors.

In player movement, Luke McGrath is reportedly set to join Perpignan, seeking more game time after being overshadowed at Leinster by Jamison Gibson-Park. Additionally, Ben Healy is rumored to be moving to La Rochelle after Edinburgh indicated his contract would not be renewed. Sean Everitt of Edinburgh confirmed, "Ben Healy’s contract is up at the end of the season... If it is La Rochelle, that’s fantastic. It’s a great club, and I’m sure that he would have a bond with Ronan O’Gara, who is an ex-Munster man, and that’s where Ben played. We wish Ben all the best in his pursuit for his next career."
