Beeno, I think picking 7 forwards means that the whole bench will get a run.
The plan is to account for the form on the day of individual players. (E.g. Vermeulen, Kolisi).
As well as make sure the team is fresh and finishes stronger.
If a player is not in top form on the day, get them off early - and then change the pack until it is all players with good form on the day are on the pitch- as well as fresh players.
1. If the Boks are playing well, the starters will stay on longer- and then the whole pack will be switched at the same time around the 60th minute.
2. If the Boks are not playing well, the bench will be brought on earlier, but more gradually of 1-2 players at a time. (e.g. Kolisi will be yanked quickly, maybe even in the first half). If the rucks are not going well, Kolisi needs to depart.
Rassie needs to look at form on the day and switch players until there is a pack on the field that is better than the All Blacks. Wiese for example, could come on and turn the tide- just because on the day he is having a good game.
The team that beat the AB last time, had AE and Cm as centre pairing and Libbok at Flyhalf.
