Just when you thought the Stormers might be packing for their European tour with some trepidation, they've gone and turned the anxiety into anticipation. Yes, folks, the cavalry is coming! The Stormers' coach, John Dobson, dropped the news like a hot scone at tea time, announcing the return of three Springbok superheroes. Cobus Reinach, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu, and Damian Willemse are set to swap their green and gold for the blue and white post a likely Rugby Championship victory bash at Twickenham.

Imagine being Dobson right now, watching your flyhalf tear it up one week, and then having him rock up in your squad the next. "It’s quite nice for a coach when you watch your flyhalf play like that [against Argentina in Durban] and then knowing that he’s coming back here," he quipped, probably trying to maintain a cool composure while internally doing cartwheels. And why not? Getting your star players back is like finding an extra fry at the bottom of the takeout bag.

"Credit to them for wanting to join us as soon as possible,"

That's right, fresh from their exploits on the international stage, Reinach, Feinberg-Mngomezulu, and Willemse are diving headfirst into the fray. The Stormers begin their tour in the scenic valleys of Wales against the Scarlets on October 10, before taking their talents to Italy for a double feature against Zebre and Benetton.

But wait, there's more! The Stormers' bench is about to get deeper as the tour progresses. The walking wounded, including lock Salmaan Moerat, prop Ntuthuko Mchunu, and flank Deon Fourie, are all on track to make their comebacks at various stages of the road trip. It seems the medical team has been working some serious magic behind the scenes.

With a squad bulking up with talent and healing powers, the Stormers are not just looking to participate; they're eyeing domination. Watch your backs, European clubs; the Stormers are storming in, and they’re not just there to make up the numbers!

TEAM: Stormers kick off against the Scarlets, followed by Zebre and Benetton.
